I walked out of the house, clenching my teeth, and holding tight to Joel's hand. I almost wanted to cry. I wanted to tell my mom. But how?? I don't think I could. I needed to tell somebody.

I kissed Joel goodbye at the end of the driveway.

"I love you. You're amazing. And I never want to lose you." he whispered into my ear. He kissed my neck. I let out a small, gentle moan. And then he was gone.

"What were you doing??" my mom asked as I got back up the driveway and to the car.

"Um, saying goodbye to Joel??" I replied.

"No, I mean while I was gone. Why was he in the house?? What all were you doing??" she asked, glaring at me.

"Well, he came down to talk to me, and I blacked out, so he took me to bed, and I woke, we talked, we fell back asleep. Nothing happened." I spoke quietly.

"Look into my eyes and say that." she whispered sternly. I looked deeply into her green eyes, and I repeated myself.

I needed to tell somebody. I only ever have one person there for me. Tori. Tori is ALWAYS there for me. Through the thick and thin. I pulled my phone out of my bra, looked at it for a moment, then put it back. Texting her wasn't going to work for me today. This is something I really needed to talk face to face with her about.

I helped take in the groceries, then slipped some shoes on. I left immediately for Tori's house. I walked as fast as I could. As I neared her house, I texted her and told her to come outside. Within a few moments, I saw her step out onto her driveway.

When I got there, I looked deeply into her eyes, her worried blue eyes.

"It happened..." I whispered.

"What happened??" Tori asked, confused.

"I lost my visa card..." I said a little more loudly this time.

"OH MY GOD!! DID YOU USE PROTECTION?!" She yelled.

"God Tor. Keep it down. You have neighbors you know." I said aloud.

"Sorry. But you didn't answer me. Did you??" She whispered.

"No. We didn't. We weren't planning on it happening, it just kinda happened..." I whispered, looking away ashamed.

"God DAMNIT Errynn. Why the HELL would you risk your adolescence??"

"I'm SORRY Tori. It wasn't supposed to happen!! We obviously weren't thinking strait when it happened!!"

"Well OBVIOUSLY!!"

"God Tor, I would have hoped that you would be there for me. To protect me. To comfort me. Maybe we just weren't meant to be best friends after all." I said, a small tear leaving the corner of my eye. I turned around and started walking.

"I will always be there for you babe. I'm just looking out for what is best for you." I heard her mumble from behind. I turned around, and started walking backwards.

"If you were there for me, you would come after me." I said under my breath.

"My short stubby legs are no match for your legs." She screamed, starting to cry. I stopped walking. I fell to my knees, then to my hands, and burried my head right where I stood in the middle of the road. She came to the side of me, fell to her knees, and laid across my back. She hugged me tight. I felt hopeless.

"I love you Errynn. I really do. But sometimes you don't make the best decisions." I heard her whisper. Then, I blacked out again.
