Rory's POV*
I was already awake before Natalia started to pound the door to the room I'm kept in. "Wake up." She said before opening the door. I saw her surprise when she saw me already awake.
She led me to the kitchen. A lot of people were in their which made me a little nervous. I knew if I got into a fight I would win but knowing what I did to Natalia and seeing the Winter Soldier it felt awkward and tense. I also didn't know these people.
I only trust Natalia and Winter Soldier because Natalia and I came from the same background and that talk we had earlier, as for the Winter Soldier I trusted him because I saw what Hydra did to him and how they wiped him. I heard his screams echo through out the halls. I don't feel all-buddy-buddy with him, It just doesn't feel as tense than around the other Avengers.
"Hey." Natalia said snapping me out of my thoughts. I made a humming sound of acknowledgment. "You want coffee? or a drink?" She asked holding a bottle of vodka in her hand but also pointing to the already brewed coffee. I pointed to the coffee.
"So do you want to talk about how you blocked my powers or are you going to ignore it?" that witch that went through my mind, asked. "Ignore it please?..." I asked sheepishly. The Avengers all looked at me and the witch. I looked to Natalia hoping she would understand I didn't want to talk about it but instead she shrugged.
I sighed. "Red Room had a variant of the Super Soldier Serum, called The Red Death. They gave it to all black widows, including me. Later when I got sent to Hydra I was supposed to fight the Winter Soldier but they said I looked too weak so they wanted me to be their toy and test subject like the others. They gave me an enhancer but that wasn't enough for them. They wanted to explore. They wanted to see how close they can give a person powers before they die. I used my power to block my mind before you went to deep."
"What other powers do you have?" said a teen that looks to young to be an Avenger. "Honestly too many." I mumbled before taking a sip of the coffee. "Give me an example." He said not giving up. I looked to Natalia only to get a smirk. "I wanna know too. Show us a couple of them at least, nothing deadly though."
I looked around thinking of what to do. My eyes soon landed on a Captain America's bottle of water. He saw what I was looking at and raised a brow. With the flick of my wrist, the water floated out of the bottle and made the shape of a America flag in front of his face. I then made it ice and it fell in his opened hand.
They all looked amused but I wasn't finished. "Can I get volunteer?" I asked but they all hesitated but the red-skinned man with a yellow gem stepped forward. "What do you want me to do?"
"Just stand still please." I said before raising my hand up slowly. In return he started to float up to the ceiling and he let out a surprised yelp. I slowly put down and went to drinking my coffee.
"Thank you." I said before he sat down. He just nodded. I noticed that the man with the arrows was looking unamused and grumpy so I decided to play with him.
'Hey.' I said in his mind. "What the?!" Everyone looked at him for his sudden outburst. "He just talked through my mind! Don't do that again." He exclaimed. I nodded but still wasn't finished.
I felt hesitant about doing this but it wasn't nothing bad. I took a sip of my coffee and looked at the soldier's direction. I then made an illusion that only he would see. I made him see think he was alone in the room except for him and me. Everything in the illusion was blue though.
Once he saw it he got up, obviously startled. He looked at me shocked. "What did you do?" Natalia asked.
"Nothing just showed him an illusion only he would see." I answered. In order to prove my point I made a illusion for her. She could only see herself in the room. I quickly took away the illusion.
I laughed at her shocked face but she quickly covered it up with another smirk. I saw a candle that was by the birdman's side on the counter. He noticed and let out a small chuckle when it suddenly lit up.
"That's all the powers I'm doing." I said after swallowing my coffee. "Awww. One more?" The boy who started it all asked. "Fine, but seriously this is my last one I'm showing." I sighed. He beamed when I said that. I closed my eyes and focused. I opened my eyes and looked at Natalia within seconds I had made my shadow a person.
I saw Natalia look at me with confusion. "Is this a illusion?" She asked as I shook my head no."I made it into an real person. It has thought and emotions like a actual human. I can't really control him. I just make him or dismiss him into my shadow again. Like a twin." It looked just like me. It looked across the room and stopped at birdman. I watched as my shadow grabbed birdman's hand and get on one knee. He kissed his hand as I laughed a little.
Birdman blushed and coughed to cover it up while looking away. "Come on." I said to my shadow before he came over and turned into my regular shadow. "So your like Peter Pan." The boy was to young to be an Avenger, said. I shot the kid a glare when he said that.
"And your like 15?" I bit back. "I'm 16." He mumbled with a pout. "I wasn't far off." I shot at him with a smirk. "Wait how old are you?" Tin can man asked. "22 years old." I answered. They all looked slightly shocked at my answer. "Really?" The kid said pitifully. I nod and drunk the last of my coffee.
"Wait if you had an enhancer, The Red Death, and powers, how strong are you?" Green guy asked. "Honestly I don't know." I said putting the mug Natalia gave me in the sink.
"Well that's what we are going to find out today, along with what you know." Natalia said with determination burning in her eyes. I turned to her confused and she motioned for me to follow after her to a different room.
