"So he's kind of like Bruce?"
"Kind of."
"I think this is the side of him that Hydra trained."
"What do you mean?"
"Hydra taught their subjects to finish the mission no matter what. He didn't think twice when he dislocated his wrist or when he pull the arrow out of his leg."
"Don't forget when he kept trying to kill Nat when he was getting electrocuted."
"I need to see him. His injuries need to be treated that leg wound can get infected."
"Okay let me go get him."
"Actually Nat, I don't think it would be best for you to do that."
They were talking like I couldn't hear them outside the medical room, I guess. I tried to get up but I was almost ready to collapsed on the spot and sat down in front of the medical room's door so I listened to what they said. I knew they were talking about me but tried to hush their voices so I wouldn't hear but I did.
Suddenly the door opened and out walked the Winter Soldier. "Come on. I know you know English." He held out his hand to help me up but that confused me. They told me that he doesn't help people I guess this might be a trick so I picked myself up and walked with him through the door.
The room had white walls and lot of medical equipment. Yep it's a medical room. I saw all of the Avengers, they were very alert. The room looked very big and very clean. I looked down when I saw that Captain America caught my gaze. I wasn't supposed to look around. I wasn't supposed to look around at the doctor or the people so I looked at the ground.
When the Winter Soldier stopped walking, I stopped. "You can look up. I need you to sit in this chair." I heard a voice say. I looked up and saw the chair and freaked out. It looked like Hydra's. I went to run and groaned at the pain jolting all over my body from my calf. The Winter Soldier caught me and wouldn't let me go "No, no, no, no!" I said trying to out of the Winter Soldiers grasp. I didn't want to be erased. I tried to finish my mission. I really did.
"Mistake, I sorry. Mistake, I sorry!" I said trying to remember how to speak English. I knew what English sound like and meant but that doesn't mean I knew how to speak it fully, Rory knew it, not me.
I clawed at the Winter Soldier grip. I wanted to go anywhere but here, but it seems the Winter Soldier wasn't going to let that happen. "Stop!" He yelled in English. I stopped but didn't make any move to sit at that chair so the Winter Soldier gestured for me to sit down. I did but could feel my eyes want to water but I held it back. I noticed the doctor walked back in but what he was wearing scared me. He was wearing a white coat which made me look at the floor.
"Alright I'm just going to bandage it and disinfect it. I'm going to give you a cast for your wrist and pop it back in place." He said coming closer. I could tell I was shaking. I still thought I might be getting erased. I only been erased once and it felt horrible. I also heard the screams of the Winter Soldier when they did that to him. It feels horrible.
He got a alcohol wipe and started to lift up my pant to reveal the area I was bleeding at. I let him wipe it down and bandage it. It burned when that alcohol touched the area but it had to be done. I looked down the whole time. When he got to my wrist I started to breathe hard. I knew he was about to pop it in place so I looked down at the ground.
I looked at the Winter Soldier in fright. He just averted his eyes to a different direction before I cast my eyes to the floor. "Okay on three." The doctor instructed. I nodded my head ready for the pain. "1..2...3." Once he said three he popped it in place and I let out a silent scream. I was breathing hard and the tears I was holding in fell down my cheeks. I started to sob a little but tried to keep quiet as he put on the cast.
I heard Winter Soldier clear his throat and I looked up at him. "Go to sleep. You need rest." He said as the Avengers started to exit. They all left except Winter Soldier, I grew suspicious at that and he recognized it.
"I'm staying here so you won't try to leave. Go to sleep." I closed my eyes and tried to ease my thoughts. It wasn't hard since I was already tired from the pain, the fight, and the leg wound. Soon enough darkness engulfed my vision and thoughts.
