Somewhere in another universe that's not too far from Sonic's own, there was an island called Bygone Island (or Seaside Island for some people). This island is home to another Sonic as well as another Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, with most of them behaving like the real deal, but there was also Sticks, a nutty badger who is skilled in survival, comes up with many crazy theories, and has a poor etiquette in gatherings. She first met Hamoody when he visited her universe, and while the two didn't have the best time, they became friends, and she has since been wanting to visit him again for the summer...
In a closer shot of the island, we pan across a beach before stopping in front of a shack. Another Sonic with a neck scarf, blue arms, and an overall bit of a different look walks out and stretches his body for a moment, and to differentiate it from the real Sonic, we'll call him Boom Sonic.
Boom Sonic: *relieved* Ahh... There's nothing like waking up on a nice sunny Friday. The moment I step outside I can already feel the sunshine on my quills... *unamused* which I have been feeling ever since Winter ended.
Boom Sonic spots the rest of his team playing with a frisbee and dashes over to them. Three of them appear to be different versions of Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, and there's another member who looks to be a badger in tribal clothing.
Boom Sonic: *zooms to Boom Tails* Hey, You forgot the leader!
Boom Tails: *surprised* Sonic? It's been a while since we last saw you in the morning.
Boom Amy: Did you get enough sleep?
Boom Knuckles: Were you like me and sleeping on your stomach?
Boom Sonic: It wasn't either of that. *pulls out his phone, which has a Low Battery icon* My phone ran out of batteries overnight, my real alarm clock was in repair, and the charging dock I just bought yesterday is busted!
Boom Amy: Is the dock official?
Boom Sonic: I bought it from the official store.
The badger walks up to Boom Sonic with an angry look.
Sticks: But that's impossible! Either the alien overlords used your charging dock as rocket fuel... *calm* or you just might need to fix it like everyone else. *beat for a second, then to the audience* Yup! I know how batteries work!
Boom Knuckles: *serious* Stop trying to talk to people who might not see you, *energetic* and catch this!
Boom Knuckles tosses a frisbee at Sticks' face. Sticks dives to the other side as the frisbee lands underneath a heavy boulder.
Boom Amy: Knuckles!
Boom Knuckles: Sorry! Must've swung too hard.
Boom Sonic: Could you lift that big rock up so we can pick up the frisbee?
Sticks: Nonsense! Why lift a boulder when I can just reach for it first?
Sticks attempts to reach underneath the rock and pull the frisbee out, but it's pretty deep inside and the space is too low for her arms to fit. She angrily grunts with each reach.
Boom Knuckles: Can't you just shrink yourself and get the frisbee?
Boom Tails: But if we did that, she would have a harder time pulling it out because her hands would be too small!
Boom Sonic: Yeah... *to Boom Knuckles* You can lift that rock up now.
Sticks: *tired* You win this time, Knux.
Boom Knuckles lifts up the boulder, but Sticks touches the frisbee first.
Sticks: *sly* And this time, I get to throw.
