what is pet regression?
like age regression, pet regression involves regressing to a different mindset. however, in this case, it's not about what you used to be, but about regressing to your instincts. for instance, if someone prefers to be patted on the head and is energetic, they might be a puppy regressor. or, if they're a bit more laid-back, they're likely to be a kitty regressor.
of course, like littlespace, every pet regressor is different, but again, there are general traits and interests that each type of animal regressor tends to exhibit. i'll detail these in a later chapter, as i will the littlespace characteristics.
also similarly to age regression, pet play and pet regression are not the same thing. pet play, as with ageplay, is a form of pretending where adults engage in consensual BDSM acts with one or more acting as an animal. pet regression is a SFW and valid form of coping with stress, anxiety, trauma, etc.
