Opening the door to the final floor led Wonwoo to the rooftop. From its exterior, you'd believe this structure had more than three levels due to the fact that the walls on the rooftop were extremely tall.

But it wasn't just that that piqued his interest.

A green giant sat at the other end the instant he walked in. He was wearing spectacles and was reading a book while waiting for the gamer to arrive.

Finding him in a calm state wasn't what he had expected to see. The giant raised his head, sensing the presence of another being in his domain. He was stunned to discover his adversary was still alive and well.

"You're still alive, boy?" the giant's booming voice inquired. He was slightly astonished by how strong Wonwoo actually was.

"Impressive."

"Thank you," he said hesitantly, unsure whether he should be flattered or intimidated by his adversary's comment.

"Well, I wasn't prepared for your arrival, as you can see. In fact, I wasn't expecting you to survive at all! Both Lady Fotia and Pirate Jir are very strong. To see you still in one piece and still unharmed, you must be a pretty strong lad!"

The gamer was taken aback by the kindness he was shown because these monsters are generally brutal and cocky. Wonwoo's trepidation diminished as a result.

"I'm Shard, the giant living in this building."

"Are you the final boss?" he inquired, approaching him closer.

"I am, but not at the moment."

Wonwoo gave him a perplexed expression.

"For the time being, I'll be the judge," he said as he strolled to the side of the arena. "Your opponent will be a pet of mine! Strong one, meet Helot."

When he introduced his so-called "pet," the massive metal gates in front of him opened. A low growl resonated through the rooftop, rumbling the ground slightly.

Wonwoo swallowed at the impact of the growl, raising his cautious level once more. He was afraid, despite the courage he displayed.

Helot emerged from the cage in a timorous state, his back hunched and his ears drawn back.

Nonetheless, his appearance was intimidating. His gray spikes trailed down his long, scaly back, all the way to his lengthy tail.

It still baffles him that the circumstance he was in was something he was experiencing in real life rather than through someone controlling a character in a game.

"Helot, he's all yours! Attack!" Shard then whipped Helot, forcing the dragon to roar angrily at Wonwoo and Z.

Wonwoo felt sympathy for the creature after witnessing how it was being treated. Being thrashed is unpleasant and painful.

Helot charged at them as they dodged the attack by bolting and rolling to their side. There were no other openings for retaliation when his enemy was this vicious.

Wonwoo observed their fearful eyes as he leveled his sword at them. This softened his expression, and he felt more pity. He couldn't attack him, no matter how badly he wanted to.

Helot gave him the impression that he didn't want to injure him. But, as a slave, he was aware that he would perish in the battle.

He was frightened of death; therefore, he had no choice but to murder his adversary before they killed him.

And the gamer recognized his scared demeanor, which was hidden behind a valiant one.

"Z, can you help me put a sticker on his back?" he asked his buddy, who nodded.
