[Yumi's P.O.V]
For the 2nd Crystal team, we have Jeonghan, Seungcheol, Heric, Seungkwan, Seokmin, and I.
We're headed to find the Rose Quartz Heart Crystal that the sacred elf, Emina Jury, has assigned to us.
I'd be lying if I claimed I wasn't scared, because the crystal we're looking for appears to be on a deserted island. With that said, we had to fly across the ocean and use Hansol's map to find this island.
Knowing myself, I have a severe fear of the ocean, often referred to as thalassophobia. This phobia of mine will never go away, no matter how much help I seek to attempt to repair it.
We flew over the ocean in Seokmin and Seungkwan's vehicle while I had my eyes shut, hugging my knees in fear.
"Noona, it'll be fine! Plus, we're high above the ocean, so no creatures from it can get to us," Seungkwan told me, but knowing that the ocean is directly below me will never make me feel safe.
"That's like saying everything will be fine, and because we don't see the earth dying, there's no such thing as global warming," I disagreed, my eyes still closed shut.
"Are we there yet?" I huffed impatiently.
"Yep, it's just up ahead!" Heric, who was holding the map, replied.
Within a few seconds later, the boys began yelling eagerly as soon as they saw the deserted island we were heading to. After catching a glimpse of our destination, a flood of relief washed over my body.
It was a sign that I didn't have to endure the fear of dropping into the big ocean below us any longer. But I shouldn't be relieved just yet; my feet haven't yet reached the ground.
Jeonghan sat next to me and extended his arm, realizing how much I was quivering in dread alone behind them. "Here, you can hug my arm if it helps," he said as I moved closer to him, tightly hugging his arm.
"We're going to drive the vehicle down; hold on tight!"
I tightened my grip on the clown's arm as he gently held on to my head while the rest of the boys cheered in enjoyment on the ride down. It's like riding a roller coaster without seat belts.
Fortunately, we arrived on the island safely and without mishap. Being on the ground made my heart feel much safer than being in the air, and I immediately dreaded the ride later on after we obtained the crystal.
We continued our journey on foot, aided by the map. Heric took the lead, directing us to a cave that was conveniently close to where we had just landed.
"The crystal stops here," he explained.
The cave's entrance wasn't particularly threatening; it was small, and from where we were standing, it appeared to be just another ordinary-looking cave in the earth realm.
