I have never seen Pico act like that it threw me off and I had forgotten I was paying for something, "and with my discounts that will be $200," Kathy said bringing me back to reality "oh sorry I was daydreaming... Here you go" I paid up all the money and started packing everything, suddenly, I felt her hand touch my wrist "benny can I ask you something?" She said and I looked at her.
"Oh er, sure what do you want to ask" I questioned as I put the art supplies into a plastic bag and moved my hand away from hers, "do you like that guy?" She asked her question and grabbed my attention "well yeah he's my friend" I chuckled trying to avoid the real meaning of the question, "Benny you know what I mean... Have you got a crush on that guy" she asked a second time and now my face started to burn up.
"Erm... I had a crush on him when we went to school but I know he's straight he had a girlfriend and they were a cute couple" I stated as I picked up the bag, "so you still like him... I... I think you should shoot your shot maybe he's not as straightforward as you think" she said with her kind and calm smile, "no I have known him since high school and he always talked about the girls and how hot they were" I argued as my grip on the bag tightened.
"Just go after him and ask him out I promise it won't go wrong," she said and I sighed before nodding, this got her to stop and I walked out of the shop and looked around for him as he couldn't have gotten too far, and as I said before he sticks out like a saw thumb when he comes to a posh place like this and he was on the escalator slowly going down with earphones in.
I decided it was faster to go down the stairs as the escalator was jam-packed, so I went down the stairs and then I got down the stairs I finally got to the ground floor, I quickly rushed to the escalator but when I got there he wasn't on the escalator, I looked around the area and I see Pico walking towards the exit.
I tried my best to run after him but k constantly got stopped "hey you're that kid... The kid of the fairest couple" a woman asked and I chuckled "yeah sorry ma'am I have to get going" I said as I moved her hands off me, I have never had to repeat one phrase more than that one in one day, but when I finally reached the exited I had lost him "why is this guy so sneaky sometimes" I said to myself as I surveyed the area.
I then noticed his familiar green hoodie walking into the alley from last week so I chased after him, and again multiple people tried to stop me and I gave them the same excuse till I made it to the alley, "hey Toughie... I need to talk to you" I called into the dark alley, I was so nervous I started beeping now and then "hey *beep* Pico" I called for him as I walked further into the alley past the spot he helped me in.
"Pico *beep*... Are you *beep* there" I continued calling until I heard someone walking up behind me, I turned around to see an older man walking towards me he seemed to be no less because his clothes were ripped some parts had sick on it that had stained the coat "hello little fella," the old man said as he got closer to me but I didn't say anything or move as I felt a panic attack coming on.
The guy was finally in front of me and this guy is like 6 ft tall while I'm around 4'10 so I'm very short causing my panic to get worse, "see I need some money and I couldn't help but notice your Benjamin fairest" he said as he placed his hands on me, "I bet your parents would pay an arm and a leg" he said but I couldn't focus my breath was getting faster as I started to panic even more.
He suddenly lifted me and slammed me into a wall, I was fully panicking as memories of the worst bearings of my patents rushed to my head "LET GO OF ME" was all I screamed I couldn't hear him or anything was going on all I could think of was the first day of homeschooling.
This was the worst day of my life as I failed so many times to learn rap, my father went from burning me to slamming me against furniture and marble walls sometimes leaving me a bloody mess, and my panic attack was now getting worse as I closed my eyes screaming for any type of hell, but when I opened my eyes I found my self in the alleyway but it was empty there wasn't even people in the street.
