chapter eight: asked out

I kept in contact with Pico over this passing week, he kept giving me ideas of how to escape, I worked hard with my parents in the hopes that I wouldn't get beaten again and add a cherry on top they were forcing me to go on dates with grace every week at least twice, then grace is slowly trying to "build our relationship" demanding we hold hands in public which because our parents are famous people surround us where ever we go.

It was draining as grace was pushing further last week she was complaining that we have been dating for 3 years now and we haven't kissed once and that the most we do is hug and hold hands or that I never pay attention to her in conversation that I'm always looking at my phone, I felt like a store owner being given a bad rating and to make things worse she informed my parents about every complaint.

But I wasn't stopping I'd keep this up until either she gives up and breaks it off or my parents give up and break it off, and today was another one of those days id just gotten back from the shouting at from my parents as I still refused to kiss grace and now she had broken down crying, I was sent upstairs and I was happy to follow their command once in my room I opened my phone.

I took a moment to think... Is there a way to maybe get out of the house without getting in trouble, not today because of the grace situation but I think I have a plan to meet him tomorrow.

And that was the last thing said before I went to sleep, the next day I started setting up my plan and it started with a setup date with grace so I messaged her when I woke up and she was happy to have one, next I had to mentally prepare myself because this will either work and I get to meet Pico or she tells my parents and I'll be dead meat.

Grace accepted my date and told me she couldn't wait, then I told my parents and they were happy to let me go on this date once grace was outside when they asked where I was taking her they were even happier and gave me a large amount of money, they also contacted our limo driver to come to pick us up, so after 15 minutes I was allowed out be grace lived nearby and she was waiting for me, "HEY BABY BLUE" she called as I walked down to my front gate, I jabbed the code in and opened the gate.

"Hey... Urgh... Gracy way" I said trying my best not to throw up at the nickname she forced me to give her, I needed to be a suck-up for this to work though I'd prefer calling her gf than that "so where are we going?" She asked and I pointed out a different mall which was bigger and more expensive than the one near me but it's closer to star park.

"OooOooo so romantic... So many restaurants and shops" she squealed as she grabbed my hand, we both got Into the limo and he drive off "so what will we be doing?" She asked I looked at her and gave the fakest smile to her "well I'll take you to the star jewel and after that ill take you to star falls that new restaurant that opened up" I explained and once again she squealed.

After driving for over an hour due to traffic we finally made it, once we got out people started recognising me already I could hear people say things like, "look it's him" or "omg I was not expecting to see him" or "I wonder if I ask if he'd take a photo with me" and slowly this did lead to people wanting autographs asking me to sign there bags or phones but we just pushed through to the jewellery shop.
