We both entered the mall getting stares from everyone at first I thought it was about pico he was ... Homeless his green hoodie had brown mud stains and rips all over him but I started realising it wasn't him they were looking at it was me, sometimes I forget that my parents love to advise me as the next up and coming star and because they are the biggest stars in this city of stars it makes people look your way.
"Wow ... Look mom ... Look he's fairest jr," a kid said to his mother she looked over at me and I felt awkward so I started to walk forwards into the mall "wow ... You have a lot of fans," Pico said as he walked beside me "yeah I don't like it I would prefer not to be seen," I said getting slightly embarrassed "so still shy as always," Pico said patting me on the head.
"Hey are you and Rebecca still together," I asked remembering that he had a girlfriend in school, and in a way, I was hopeful about his answer but felt it was wrong of course he would they were like love birds they never split up "no ... she left me the same day I got kicked out of my house," Pico said his voice told me that he was opening an old wound.
"So ... You never really liked grace?" He asked I looked at him to my left before answering his questions "no ... I don't like girls at all" I answered Pico for a moment there was silence except for all the people having their conversations "oh ... Er ... Heh ... I ... Never ....knew" he stuttered I looked at him scared was he judging me? When I saw him he was repositioning his mask, he ... Hates me?
My eyes started to water but he quickly noticed "wait what's wrong?" He asked leaning down to my level and even placing a hand on my face, his gloves were finger fewer gloves so I could feel his fingers and somehow they were soft and delicate "y...you h...h..ate me" I said and even though I couldn't see his full face I could tell he was confused "why would you think that ... I'm not bothered about what gender you like" he said patting me on the head.
"Sorry ... I was overreacting," I said blushing slightly "so now you can stop crying," he asked which made me laugh now that I see him I remember more things about him like how blunt he was he never really held back and would say what's on his mind "so ... I was going to the art store because ... I was given some money to spend where ever I want ... But I think you might need something else" I said.
He seemed confused but I didn't let him ask what I mean, I just started walking towards a very specific store "a phone store?" He asked as we entered "you can't buy me a new phone" he said and I laughed at his response "I'm not buying you a new phone" I said as I walked up to the counter, at the counter there was a woman who looked very board, she had blue hair and was chewing some gum while she was on her phone.
"How can I help?" She asked not bothering to look up from her phone "I was wondering if you had an iPhone charger and a charging bank for an iPhone" I asked she finally looked up from her phone and sighed "let me go to the back room" she said before walking away through a door behind the counter.
"What the hell ...are you buying a charger and a charging bank for me for," he asked to lean on the counter next to me "because I don't use my phone enough and I'd like to get your number maybe," I said blushing slightly at the thought "yeah ... Sure ... I don't remember my number all I remember is that I had way too much money on my phone cause I didn't call people," he said letting out a laugh.
The woman soon returned with both the charger and the bank "this will be £150" the woman said I pulled out my wallet and took out the £50 my mother gave me and the £100 that I saved for emergency and gave it to the women, "wait you're not paying for all of it ... I won't be able to repay for it" he said and I looked up at him "just give me your phone number and message me some time because ... I don't have that many friends anymore" I said as the women put the items into a bag and gave them to me.
We both then exited "I would have done that if you charged my phone at your home" he said and I sighed "yes then your phone would die more often and make charging it hard" I explained and he sighed again "you know sometimes ... You can be a bit too kind" he said as we walked towards the exit of the mall I felt my face blush "that's what I like about you sometimes" he said rubbing the top of my head which caused me to blush extremely hard.
Now it was time to get to my house to charge his phone and his charging bank.
