The Secret Killer

Chapter 2

I can't help but think who it might be.

"Excuse me, Detective Cole, but are you going to read the note?"

"Umm, yes. I was just thinking" I reply. I look at the note and it reads:

Dear my fellow detectives,

You are completely useless, I have given you plenty clues and have hidden them by dotting them around in special places, but since you haven't found any of them, I decided to come to the crime scene. I will only give you one clue and this is it. If you still don't get it just give up! It's about time. Anyway the clue is hidden in this note, so read carefully.

Just know that I am not the murderer but I was the one that did the thinking for them and that I am still your on your side but I will keep quiet for my boss' sake.

I am completely speechless, why would they help us out? And my suspicions must be right they said "My fellow detectives", but why would they give that away? And they helped plan the murder?Why, what did he do to them?Who is their boss? But the thing that bugs me most is that they hidden the clue in this note.

I read the note over and over again until I get it, special places! They have hidden the clues in places that were special to him, but I don't get why they would make it that obvious. But then I realise that they would be the places that we would least expect. What places were special to him? The Swan Quarry! He used to fish there all of the time! It is finally beginning to look up for discovering the murderer.

"Everybody, head to the Swan Quarry! I think a clue is there!" I shout. 8 months. 8 whole months we have been searching and now we may have something.

Hi everybody that is reading this, I finally updated! Everybody can thank one of my best friends, Libby, I didn't think that anybody was reading this so I kind of gave up, but she told me to update, so I did :-) I will try to update more often!
