Chapter 3

When we are at the Swan Quarry, I yell "Search everywhere! In the lake, underneath the bushes, in the grass! Everywhere!"

I see people nodding and hear some "okay" and "will do"s. I start looking around the site for any sort of clue. I don't know if anything is here or where it could be. This should be a long day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~TIME LAPSE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
5 hours later, I hear "Over here!", I run over and see a gun dripping with water. Is this the gun that he was shot with? I put on my rubber gloves and carefully inspect the gun. On the grip I see some very small writing that reads out:
Daniel' s Guns
That is the gun shop down the road from where I live. Henry Daniel. He sells the best guns in the town but at quite an expensive price.
Also engraved on the gun was the phone number and the address, but I already knew both of them, so they were no use to me.
"Everybody, keep looking just in case there is anymore clues that might be useful to us, if there is nothing we will call it a night and tomorrow we will go to Daniel's Guns to see what the shop knows about these guns. Thank you for all of your hard work today."
I am so happy with the effort of the work staff. However, I can't help but think that someone here planned the murder. Who could it be? Maybe the person that found the clue, Joe? No, he would only of taken a few hours, not 5. Maybe, the person that found the first clue, Mark? Now, that could be a possibility. I have an idea how I can find out who wrote the note, but I can't tell anyone, not even my Boss. Everyone will have to handwrite a letter about why they should keep their job in exactly 200 words and then I will compare it to the first clue, to find the matching handwriting. The only problem is that I don't know if anyone would forge their handwriting.
Nobody found anything after that clue, so I walked back home and read, eventually falling into a deep sleep.
Thank you for reading this book, I know I sound  like this is the end of the story, but don't worry, it isn't! I am so happy, I have got 24 reads so far and I know that doesn't sound like a lot but I am so happy:) I just wanted to thank you and  I will probably update again tomorrow, I am really enjoying writing this and I hope that you are enjoying reading it.
