No one knows what lies beneath, As all is hidden by his perfect smile, And what is not seen underneath, Had stayed there for a quite a while.
If only someone had seen through those lips that lied, Before he could shed all those tears, with so much to hide. Why had the world been so cruel to his soul, As even his family seemed to eat him as a whole.
The incessant remarks and insults he received, Left him hopeless as he once used to believe. Believe that maybe one day someone may like him for who he was, The simple hope of wanting to know what happiness does.
