𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐎 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓 𝐔𝐏 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖 as she sucked in a breath. she looked around quickly, realizing that she was in the safety of her bedroom. she tried to calm herself down, knowing that she was safe and that it was just another nightmare. she wiped the sweat from her forehead. she looked over to where her clock was, seeing that it was almost 3:00 in the morning. she shook her head slightly, not liking how close it was to that time but she tried not to dwell on it. she scratched her eyebrow as she climbed out of bed. she knew that she wasn't gonna be able to go back to sleep. she walked out of her room and into the dark hallway, mumbling things under her breath as she walked down to steve's room. she slowly opened his door, seeing that the boy was sound asleep.
she walked further into his room, closing the door behind her as she did so. she walked over to the bed and got situated at the bottom of it. as she curled up in on herself, she felt steve stir from his spot, making her look up at him. she watched as her brother sat up from his bed, sleep written all over his face as he sat up from his pillow. arlo stayed frozen in her spot, not exactly sure what she should do. she had done this many times before but he has never woken up before.
