The "Meet Up"

Mk woke up, it was 8:22 am. He got out of bed and went to the kitchen he made breakfast and sat down at the table. He looked over at the letter from Red Son. He left it at the other end of the table. ' later Today is when we meet......... And I have NO IDEA HOW TO APPROACH THIS'!

Mk was freaking out,he wants to tell him how he feels, but doesn't know if now is the best time. He hopes that Mei will help out. He stood up and went to get dressed. After that he went to work. He walked in to see Mei seated, as expected, but so was Tang and Sandy. He said hi and started delivering noodles. Everytime he stopped to pick up more orders he would get an odd question from sandy or Tang and even Pigsy at times.Mk figured out quickly that they were just trying to find out who his crush was.
After delivering for bit, he was told to sweep. While sweeping he started to get distracted by the thought of Red Son. Maybe a bit to distracted by it.

"Heeeey Mk"
Tang asked.
"Whatcha thinking about"?

"Oh just reee......Wait a minute, your just trying to find out who I like"!

"Yep, and now I know there name starts with RE"

"Oh, whatever"
Mk just got back to work. After a long day full of everyone pressing him for answers, it was now 6:00 pm. Mk had requested to leave a bit earlier than normal. Mk went into his apartment, and freaked out.
"WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO, ITS ALREADY 6 AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS IS GONNA GO "
just that was said he heard a knock on the door. He answered it and it was Mei.
"Hey Mk, ready to get ready for your date"?

"DATE"
Mk said embarrassed.
"It's not a date just a meet up is all"

"Mhm, riiiiight"
Mei walked in and Mk shut the door.
"I don't know what im doing at all and I'm so anxious about it"!

"No problem I got you"
Mei said with smile.
"First off let's think outfit wise"
And with Mei dashed over to Mk's room.
"Mei"!
Mk followed along.

*Not to long later*

Mei had picked A nice plaid shirt, a jacket and ripped jeans with a scarf.

"Hm, not that bad"
Mk said.
"Buuut I'm still extremely worried about it"

"No worries, just breathe in and out"
Mk followed her instructions and breathed in and out.
"Now remember, confidence is key to success"
Mk nodded and was mostly prepared for it.
"Also Mk chill out, it's like you said it's a meet up, not a date"

"Yeah, your right Mei"

"Like always"
Mei walked over to the door.
"Now c'mon, let's not leave him waiting for any longer"

"Leave who waiting "?
Mk and Mei turned to see the Monkey king.
"Monkey King, What are you doing here"?

"Well you haven't appeared for training in while, so I came to check up on ya, and from what I heard things are going better than I expected"

"Pft no, it's not like that at all, I'm not going out with anybody"

"I was talking about the Noodle shop gaining more popularity but do tell"
Mei giggling while talking said
"Mk's got a crush"

"MEI"!

"What, everyone else knows already why not tell him"

"*Le Gasp* you have a crush"

"Yup and he's meeting up with him right now"

"Ooh can I come"

"Why not"?

"MEI"!
The king laughed.
"Oh don't worry Mk I won't get in the way that much".

*Later near LongHorn forest*

The entire ride Monkey King and Mei were discussing the entire situation. Mei told him literally everything.
Finally they arrived at the edge of the forest. Mk got out and started down the path, Mei and monkey king following.
After a while the made it near the hill peak.
"Alright time for you two to disappear"

"Awwwww"
"Awwwww"

"Now be gone"
Monkey King and Mei climbed into a nearby tree. Mk walked up and saw Red Son pacing around, he looked anxious.Mk could hear him talking to himself as he walked up.
"Alright it's fine it's nothing big just apologize then leave nothing more it's not like his reaction means anything"

"Uh Red Son"
Red jumped a bit and turned around to see Mk.
"Oh, noodle boy, I-I didn't think you would be this early"

"Yeah well I managed to get off work a little earlier"

"Ah,yes,well that's, good"
There was an awkward silence for a bit until Red broke the silence.
"So, about what happened at Jamanakai..... I'm just really sorry about it and..."
As Red was talking Mk looked behind him.....

AND MEI AND WUKONG WERE RIGHT BEHIND THEM. They were slightly behind a tree that was there.
Wukong mouthed 'really'?
Mk tried to shoo them away without Red noticing, but Red noticed.
"Uh, is something wrong"

"Oh nothing at it's just the sunset is really nice isn't it"?
Red turned around to look at the sunset. Thankfully the two knew better than to show themselves and ducked.Red looked back at Mk who was now more anxious than ever. Before Red could say anything he noticed a rustling in the bushes.
"Hey did you see tha-"

"HEY why don't we have a seat over here, just chill out a bit while we talk"Mk said as he dragged Red next to the Cliff.
Red a bit hesitant sat down and Mk followed. The two looked towards the sunset.
"Hey Mk"

Mk confused, turned to his left side to see Mei and Wukong astro projecting them selfs right next to them. Mk was dumb found.
'ARE THESE TWO SERIOUS, HOW DID HE EVEN GET IT TO WORK ON MEI"!?
Mk just tried to stay calm.

"So about Jamanakai, I just really wanted to apologize,you see my mother came and, I thought that she would be disappointed with me and........... I guess I just didn't think it through........."

"It's perfectly alright Red Son, I get that feeling of not wanting to disappoint someone"

"Yeah disappointed is what your gonna be if you don't ask him out already".
Mei said, Mk ignored her.
"Anyhow it's alright, I forgive you"

"Your never going to forgive yourself for not confessing" Wukong said.
Mk also ignored him.

"I'm really glad you forgive me, especially After what I did"
Mk put a arm around him.
"Please how could I not forgive you, you just have an awful lot of family issues"
Red smiled a bit and in return Mk smiled as well.
"Mei and monkey king are watching us right"

"Wait what"

"It was a bit obvious"

"Sorry Mk I guess we're not that sneaky"
Mei yelled from the bushes.

"Maybe you wouldn't have gotten caught if you weren't peaking out every minute"
Mei hoped out and the monkey followed.
"Well maybe if you didn't try and shoo us away then we would have been more stealthy".

"THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS"!
Red giggled a bit.

"Awww,you know you two make a good couple" Monkey King said.

"WHAT"!
"WHAT"!

"I mean it's pretty true"
Mei chimed in.

"SHUT IT YOU TWO"
Mk ran over and started to push them away.
"anyway talk soon Red but I gotta go"

"Also don't worry kid you got my approval "

"Yeah, You got our full support so go ham all you want-"

"WOULD YOU TWO STOP TALKING"!!
and with that Mk had pushed them out of Red's sight. Red Son smiled to himself. 'maybe there's a chance after all'

Hey you all, so this was a longer chapter. For some reason I didn't make the chapters that long. And I realize that this won't end for a while if I kept going like that, so expect longer Chapters. Anyway see you all later.
