From Ash To Fire

I've Got a Dragon.

Mei was pacing around the bathroom panicking.
'how did shady get here'
She thought. She looked around for something to hide him in. She noticed her bag was big enough to hold him. She grabbed shady and put him in it. She closed the bag and got changed. She walked out and prayed that shady would keep quiet. She looked around and saw that. Everyone was in the kitchen. She slipped by and went to a nearby closet. She put her bag down in it.
"Okay shady I'ma let you here for a bit"
She said while starting to unzip the bag.
"Please I'ma need you stay quei-"
She looked down shocked. For shady was once again missing. Mei looked around the house panicking. she went into the living room and started searching. Mk noticed Mei in the living room and went to talk with her
"Hey Mei"
Mk said
"Why are you ransacking the room"?

"I lost something very Important"

"Oh, do you need help finding it"

"Nah, I'm good I'll just look on my own, save me some cookies will ya"
Mei said while walking out of the room. She continued to tear apart the place looking for shady. She was about to check outside when she spotted him. He was near the door of the kitchen and was about to waddle in. She ran up and blocked the door pushing shady back with her foot.
"Oh Mei did you finally come for cookies"?
Tang said.

"Oh, yup I couldn't let you guys get them all"
Mei said while still keeping shady from waddling in.

"Did you find that important thing"?
Mk asked.

"Yep it was in my bag all along, oh and sorry sandy, I may have torn up the place looking for it"
Mei said.

"It's alright, I expected the house to get messy after the sleepover anyway"
Sandy said.

"Okay well, before I eat some cookies I'm going to put this important thing away"
Mei said while walking out of site. She grabbed shady and ran. She slipped outside and looked for a place that shady couldn't get out of. As she was looking around she heard a meow. She looked behind her and saw Mo. he was staring her down from above but Mei just ignored him. She spotted and empty crate that was left open. she put shady down in the crate and shut the door. Mo, still sitting and watching her, only gave off a meow. Mei prayed that he wouldn't try to tattle on her. She went back inside to eat some cookies.

*Later*

Mei was lying down on the couch watching a movie. Everyone around her was by now asleep. She decided that now would be good time to get shady home without anyone noticing. She got up and put on her jacket. She walked outside and went to the crate.
"Psst shady"
She called out.
"I'm sorry for shoving you in there but I couldn't find anywhere else"
Mei then opened the crate, to find shady was gone again. Mei by now was tired of shady running off and went to find him. She checked around outside before going inside. She walked in the living room and saw shady on top of Mk. Mei was panicking a little and tiptoed over towards them.
"Shady come here"
She said trying not to wake up Mk. Shady just sat down.
"Shady please come here"
Shady just sat there and stared at her.
"Shady please come here, gently and slowly"
Shady just stared at her and layed down. Mk moved a bit and knocked shady down. Without hesitation Mei walked over and scooped him up. She bolted out of the house hoped onto her motorcycle. She didn't wait for more than second before driving off.

*Morning*

Mei was dead asleep, Tang was eating breakfast, and Mk was bored. Sandy had heard that a rare and expensive tea that he was in stock at a shop in the next town over. Mk was thinking of what to do when he remembered something. Not to long ago Mei and went snooping through his stuff. He was in the mood for revenge so he grabbed Mei's bag.
Tang by now looked over and spotted Mk grabbing Mei's bag.
"What are you doing"?
Tang asked.

"Well Mei went through my stuff not to long ago"
Mk responded placing Mei's bag on the coffee table.
"And Im in a revenge kind of mood"

"Well then tell me if you find a book titled The Adventures of Ekel please tell me, I've had a gut feeling that she took it"
Mk nodded and unzipped the bag. But instead of your normal average things, something ran out of the bag and tackled Mk. Mk managed to grab whatever ran out of the bag. He looked over and saw a DRAGON.
Mk just sat there confused while keeping a good grip on it. Tang who saw the whole thing was also confused. Mk snapped out of his shock soon though and took the dragon to closet. He gently put him down a shut the door. Mk turned back to Tang and asked "what now"?

"Wha- well first off why did Mei have that in her bag"?

"Maybe it's her cousin"?

"Mei doesn't have a cousin"

"Oh yeah....Maybe she's babysitting "?

"Why would she be babysitting the same day we were having a slumber party"?

"Well I mean she didn't really wanna come and we did kinda pressure her"

"Yeah fair point, alright let it out"
And with that Mk went back to closet and opened the door. But to his and Tang's shock it was not in there. Mk looked around a bit confused and went searching for it. Tang went over and woke up Mei.
"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat"
Mei groaned.

"The dragon you babysitting went missing"
Tang said.

"Well then go find him, I'm trying to sleep.....................wait WHAT"!?!?!
Mei hoped up faster than light. She rushed around looking for him while still wondering why shady was here.
She went into Sandy's room and found Mk running around trying to grab him. She quickly managed to grab shady.
"Mei why didn't you tell us that you were supposed to babysit"?
Mk asked.

"Well Im not exactly babysitting"

"wait your not babysitting"?

"*Sigh*c'mon I'll explain"
Mei said while walking to the living room.

*A few moments later*

"So you found this dragon in an alley"?
Tang asked. Him and Mk were sitting on the couch. Mei was on the floor watching shady eat a few pieces of leftover bacon.
"It's shady, and yes"

"Huh" Mk said "and you didn't tell us why"?

"Well I figured I could get shady back by myself, also I know you guys would totally get attached"!

"WHAT"!!
"WHAT"!!

"You would also get supper attached"!
Tang said.

"Yeah but I figured I could save you all the heartache"
Mei said.

"Well I guess your plan was to take him home"?
Tang asked

"Yeah buts that's the problem shady is from across the Pacific"!

"Wait really"?
Mk said.

"Yeah his kind of dragon can only be found in north America"
Mei said
"Well then it's a good thing we know someone with a boat"
Mei said.

"Yeah but Sandy went out of town to get a new and rare kind of tea"
Tang said.

"So then we just wait for him to get back"?
Mei suggested. But then a thought came to Mk.
"Wait we know someone who can fly"!
Mk said.

*At sun wukong's house*

Mk knocked on the door and waited. Not to long later the Monkey King answered the door.
"Hey'o kid what can I do for ya"?

"We need you to fly us somewhere"
Mei said.

"Really, where to"?

"North America"
Tang chimed in.

"North America, why do wanna go there"?

"To return this a baby dragon back home"Mk said.

"A dragon" wukong asked confused.
Mk unzipped the bag a little bit.wukong looked in it and frowned.
"That's no dragon"

"It's not"?!
