Wei wuxian was wondering in caiyi town as he was walking he notice a small fox who was almost dead so he immediately pick her and take her to cloud recesses. He silently go to his room and treat her and at same time Lan wangji see him bringing a fox at cloud recesses that is against the law so he go to him to tell him to get his panishment. As his enter his room he saw an injured fox. That fox was so beautiful and cute he thought but lan zhan say"animals are forbidden in here" wei ying then notice him and said"please can't you see it's hurt just let it stay here for a few days". They were too busy in talking that they didn't notice that the fox was already awake and look around to hide herself. She was running and accidentally break something that immediately catch their attention as they were staring at her. She was almost crying thinking that they were going to hurt her like them. After seeing her cry wei ying immediately go to check on her but she step back seeing this wei ying say "it's fine we won't hurt you I'm just going to check on your injures". The fox slowly come to his hands as he pet her.
