[3rd Person POV]
Investigation time has begun, the students only have an ample amount of time until the terrifying Class Trial begins.
But it seems that, not everyone is affected by the weight of the situation. Namely, a certain Information Broker.
"Mhm... This confirms that this person is dead, huh?"
Y/N snickered while he sat on the bed of Naegi Makoto's room as he watched Kirigiri Kyoko conduct her investigation within the scene of the crime.
The room was guarded by Mondo Owada and Sakura Ogami, as to prevent any possible tampering within the scene of the crime while further investigations are being made.
Kirigiri was quiet as she continued to slowly piece things together inside her mind, the crime isn't as complicated as her past cases, in fact, it was quite straightforward.
Taking a look at Y/N, he was just watching her, which brought forth the possibility that either he already knew who the culprit was or at the very least, they were on the same page.
The info broker stood up and approached the restroom, where Maizono Sayaka lost her life.
"You think the knife in her stomach is what killed her?"
Y/N kept on making light of how dangerous their current circumstances are, which prompted a disgusted look from Owada and a grunt from Ogami.
"She most likely bled to death, caused by the knife. But the cause of death will be that she bled out."
Kirigiri answered, joining Y/N at his side and taking a look at the body. The two guards outside were also further creeped out by how Kirigiri humored Y/N, of all people. She offered a prayer first before continuing.
The broker watched her do her magic, fiddling what she could with what matches with what's on her mind.
With the length of time they knew each other, even before they attended Hope's Peak, Y/N always found Kirigiri doing her work quite a sight to behold.
That quiet, calculating feel to her whenever she's investigating makes Y/N keep his eyes locked on her. It's almost captivating.
Kirigiri knows this, and Y/N never made this secret...
[Small Flashback]
With the death of Sayaka Maizono, the class separated within small groups or by themselves.
Kyoko Kirigiri immediately made haste to the room of Naegi Makoto, and while Naegi is the prime suspect, she knew that something so painfully obvious wouldn't be the real answer.
Upon entering said room, and with the Ultimate Biker and the Ultimate Martial Artist's help being enlisted to keep the investigation clean, Kirigiri begun her work.
A weirdly spotless room without any hint of hair, but there is obvious signs of a struggle.
Notepad sitting on the table, a broken doorknob with it's screws loose.
The Katana with it's gold coating scraped off, and the knife that was lodged inside the victim's abdomen.
Kirigiri already figured out what had transpired inside the room solely from the evidence she had.
Now, the only questions are: who initiated what, and who killed the victim.
The first question, she could easily figure out.
If the doorknob to the shower room was broken, and the front door wasn't, that would mean that they were let in normally. And the fact that the shower room doorknob was broken by loosening the screws meant that a screwdriver was used.
