[3rd Person POV]

Morning...

Being woken up by Monokuma's announcements was simply a thing you have to get used to if you're trapped in a situation where it has full control of everything.

But this time, his announcement carried a far more sinister tone.

"Good morning!"

Naegi Makoto woke up to the bear's greeting and promptly sat up from his bed, because of the sudden wake up, the luckster needed first to get his bearings, but Monokuma went on ahead his announcement, causing shock.

"While you were happily sleeping in, something happened to one of your dear classmates."

Upon hearing this, Naegi immediately stood up and made his way towards the cafeteria, but when he left the room, he was welcomed outside by a voice.

"Na~eg~i~ chan~!"

A call of his name in a sing-song voice brought his attention to the source.

It didn't take long for him to find out that it was Y/N, The Ultimate Information Broker. He purposely drew out the "eg" part of his name as a way of playfully teasing him, but Naegi was too panicked to take in what he said.

"L/N kun! Monokuma said something happened!"

Was Naegi's only words to Y/N as the luckster rushed to the cafeteria.

"Well, yeah... I heard the announcement."
Y/N muttered before sighing, and then Ultimately following.

In the cafeteria, a couple of people were already present.

"What's happened!?"
Naegi asked the group

"You're late, Naegicchi!"
reprimanded Hagakure with his arms crossed.

"It's quite likely that it's happened again."
Ogami acknowledged the possibility, something that Asahina wasn't willing to accept.

"No way! They are just embarrassing memories."

"I wouldn't be so sure."

A voice popped in from way behind, looking at the source, it's revealed to be Togami Byakuya, the Ultimate Heir.

"Surely there are people who don't think that way."

"If the responses from my suggestion yesterday was anything to go by, then yeah..."
Y/N commented, still feigning dejection.

"Let's confirm it, then. Naegi, come with me."
Togami stood from his seat and dragged Naegi with him.

"Togami redemption arc?"

When they were gone, Y/N immediately went to leave the little group they were in, seeing as his person of interest wasn't present.

"Oi, where are you going, L/N!?"
Asahina called out to the broker who didn't stop walking away.

"I'm probably gonna kill someone, laters."

With a wave of his hand, he disappeared from the scene. Although Asahina felt a little scared from what he told her, she assured herself that he was probably lying.

Finally by himself, Y/N went walking around the campus trying to find someone, and well, he didn't need to look quite far,

As Kirigiri Kyoko came emerging from one of the classrooms on the second floor, obviously just finishing up investigation.

"Are you still looking around despite the fact we already confirmed that there's nothing to look for at this stage?"

Kirigiri spared Y/N a glance before she turned her back to him and began walking away.
