"I told you, her hands are too tiny to hold a gun" pissed Manjiro who was watching her daughter's hand that was already swollen red due to the strong recoil coming from the pistol she was holding. Izana, who was the one teaching her ignored his younger brother and praised her little niece. "Uh...your aim is not the best but atleast you can hit the target" he said.

"Tss. As if she would bring a fucking gun in the school? She didn't need that." Her father was getting more pissed after being ignored about his remarks and pulling her daughter's wrist away from his uncle "look, her hands already got blisters." He clicked his tongue "and you young lady, didn't I tell you to not take this training? You're too young to handle a firearm"

Emma pouted. "The Idea of holding a gun dad excites me. I don't care if I got blisters!" She happily said while his father just shook his head and glared at Izana who was already shrugging his shoulder in defense. "I didn't teach her that"

"Let's go now and I'm gonna treat your hands" Manjiro carried her small figure and walk away from the shooting range area of their home.

"Baby, I know those things like excites you but you should also care about yourself. Look at your hands." He lectured as he gently apply an ointment on the blisters.

"Papa, Do I have a mom?" Manjiro was caught off guard in his daughter's question. Meanwhile, Y/N was a bit curious about her mother and she suddenly remember to ask his own father even it sounded like she got it out of nowhere. "You mentioned it last last night and I wonder why she's not here with us" Her tone has a hint of curiosity and a bit of sadness to make it more convincing for him to spill it.

Manjiro really don't want to lie at her daughter. He was also not prepared in answering these questions therefore he came up with an idea which still made him tell the truth. "She's in abroad" he just replied shortly "you want to eat ice cream?" He changed the topic so that her daughter forget about that thing.

Even though Emma is not satisfied with his answers, she just nod and just let it slide for now. She sensed that he was trying to avoid the conversation.
