EU decides to go colonial

The EU land in Asia and the exposing of the era of recolonization

United Kingdom pov

I was told the EU would expose the hidden era of recolonization after we got some sort of foothold in Asia to be able to do Phase 2 much easier since the United Nations would be watching them when we expose it. I smiled as I managed to convince Sri Lanka to join us so I began to work on their problems while they had become my influenced nation in my sphere of influence to help us establish a foothold inside of Asia but the EU wanted at least 2 more in Asia to secure either a combined foothold or numerous footholds.

Germany pov

I began to help myself since with the gas from influenced nations my economy is less reliant from Russia I began to focus on helping expand the EU by colonization. So I made some deals with Cambodia with them slowly abolishing their abuses of the human rights in exchange for economic aid and less money to get trades. I smiled as they had become my influenced nation opening up a land border with Asia which we didn't have when the UK took over Sri Lanka. So I began to spread my own sphere to Brunei to allow us to spread into South East Asia much easier when it comes to it which worked as I granted them economic aid in exchange for some of their resources and them becoming an influenced nation of my sphere. This helped Brunei be less economically crippled alongside some hallway guards who would help prevent bullying which is a huge problem in Brunei. I smiled as after some disscusions with the EU they decided to reveal it while Spain decided to enter Asia alongside France.

Spain pov

I began negotiations with Yemen which I helped them in exchange for them becoming my protectorate which they agreed to allowing the rebels to be pushed back heavily with the help of Saudi Arabia as well. I smiled as the situation is slowly turning into my favor with my soldiers gaining a lot of experience in the desert while France focused on helping Oman with their problems. 

France pov

I was negotiating with Oman about them becoming an influenced nation of my sphere under the condition I helped them with allowing more laws of human rights in exchange for economic aid. I also brought in some of my military to make sure these terms were being followed by Oman's government.

EU pov

I made sure my suit was on while I entered the room where the entire world is watching what I have to say.

FOX: Why did you call us here? (I am using station names instead of reporter names or reporter 1)

EU: To announce an era that only the EU members knew about which I would like to announce due to all members agreeing to it

ABC: What is the announcement?

EU: The official announcement of the NEC or New Era of Colonization

ABP: Are you saying colonization is happening?

EU: Well not colonization but sphereing of nations actually but no true colonization * whispers * yet

FOX: Huh?

EU: Nothing now then this is over so you can all leave now! * quickly walks off *

Reporter stations: Wait we have more questions!

USA pov

Colonization!? Those bastards! I quickly declared pulling out of all deals with the Europeans and abolishing NATO then establishing the American defense pact with Canada... I will not allow colonization to expand into America.

Canada pov

This shocked me especially with the fact that I could be used as a landing pad to invade my brother below me in the United States so in a shocking move to the world I officially left the union. I also asked for all other members to leave the union before it is too late for them too which got responses of all leaving the union aside from South Africa, New Zealand, and nations in the UK's sphere that are in the British commonwealth.

UK pov

I suspected this would happen so I had my influenced nations join the British commonwealth to prevent it from collapsing too much. I also focused on improving my economy to not focus on being reliant on the trades of the people that left the British commonwealth with the French promising to give them to me as puppets or colonial holdings in exchange for 500,000 which I told them I would pay once she showed this promise to be true which she understood.
