You walked up the stairs to your dorm, with Luna. When you both walked in, you saw three other girls getting ready for bed.

"Hey, girls! I missed you!"

"Hey, Y/n! Hey, Luna!" Padma hollered.

"Hi! I missed you both!" Marietta stated.

"I just saw you, but I missed you too." Cho laughed.

You and Luna chuckled at Cho's words and said: "Nice to see you all again." Once everyone was prepared to go to sleep, you all got under the covers and whispered: "Goodnight."

You said your daily prayer and fell asleep with a smile.

You woke up the next morning, to the sun beaming over your face. I guess I forgot to close the curtains last night, you thought, oh well. You lifted yourself up and went to the bathroom. You brushed your teeth, did your hair, a small amount of makeup, and got dressed for the day.

"Good morning, Y/n." Luna walked towards you.

"Good morning, Luna." She gave you a one-armed hug and walked to the bathroom. You were already prepared to go to breakfast, but when you checked your clock, you saw that it was only 7:43 AM. Now I have more time, you said to yourself.

You picked up your quill and a small piece of parchment. You wrote the following:

Luna,

I have gone for a stroll, in the halls. If you need me, I will most likely be in the Great Hall, by 8 o'clock. See you then!

Y/n.

You left the paper on her bed and opened the door. You tried to be as quiet as possible because the others were still asleep.

Once the Ravenclaw common room was out of sight, you walked through the corridors of Hogwarts with a smile on your face. You were looking at the beautiful walls, when you heard a voice yell: "L/n!"

You turned around. The person who had just shouted your name was Draco Malfoy. He ran towards you.

"Malfoy? What are you doing here?" You asked, curiously.

"Taking a stroll. You?"

"Same." You laughed, remembering your letter to Luna. He smiled, confused. "I wrote a letter to Luna saying I would take a stroll." You clarified.

He lifted his head, indicating that he understood what you were saying, and looked at you again.

"I'm sort of glad this happened...I've been wanting to talk with you.."

"What is it, Malfoy?"

"You can call me Draco, if you'd like." He suggested, sweetly. Why was he being extra nice to you right now? Usually, he would let you call him Malfoy. You got used to it.

"Okay, Draco." You both laughed. He had a pleasant laugh. He looked into your eyes, with a smile.

"Um," he scratched his neck, "Would you like to spend some time with me later? If you have plans or if you don't want to, I understand."

"I'd love to."

"Great...Thanks."

"Of course! I'll see you later."

"See you then...Goodbye, Y/n." You were slightly surprised. He had never called you by your first name that much.

"Goodbye, Draco." You each walked separate directions, while you felt a rush of excitement flow through you. What are you going to do? Why are you so excited?

The echo of your footsteps got louder and louder, until it was so loud that you realized everyone was going to the Great Hall. It was 8 AM. Time to start the school day!

You followed the crowd, found your dorm-buddies, and went to the Ravenclaw table with them. You had toast with jam, scrambled eggs, and bacon. It was a delicious breakfast.

You glanced up from your plate, only to see something that made you look for longer than anticipated: Draco was lifting his fingers on-and-off of the table, holding nothing, with one of his palms on his chin.

Why did he look so sad? You didn't like seeing him acting this way. He seemed fine a while ago. What happened?

You finished eating, knowing you could talk to him when you spent time together later. Once the bell rang, you checked your schedule, for the second time. Your first class was Charms. This was your favorite class. You were glad you started the school year with your favorite class.

You began your short journey to the Charms classroom, when you heard boys being disrespectful to someone.

"Oh, come on! Just ask her out already! Look, she's right there!" You knew these boys: Crabbe and Goyle. What you didn't know, however, was why they were pointing at you. Then, you looked over your shoulder. You saw Draco with an annoyed and hurt mixture of a look on his face. He just shook his head and walked faster.

What was that about?
