Ginny's POV

That night Ginny decides to talk to Tom about all of the things she and Lily-Kathryn discussed. Hiding in the second-floor bathroom she begins writing in a dark little diary.

Hi Tom

Hello Ginny, how was your day today?

It was terrific, I made a friend in the most unlikely place today. She's Harry's sister and she told me something really interesting today. That I didn't need to be so prejudiced against Slytherins just because that is how I was raised and that I can make my own decisions and have my own opinions on things like this. It just blew my mind.

That is very interesting, how on earth did you manage to get on that sort of topic?

Well, I was in potions and I was exhausted because, you know, I've been sleepwalking a lot lately. So she sat by me randomly because she could see that I wasn't feeling well today. She asked me what was wrong and I told her about the sleepwalking and my failing of potions. She offered to tutor me and so I said yes.

Wow, so you did a lot today then. But you told her about sleepwalking, why would you do that?

She just seemed so nice and it felt like I could talk to her, ya know?

I don't think you should tell her about that anymore.

Why not?

Because it is none of her business! Sigh, I am sorry. That was harsh. But really, don't tell her anything else about me.

What do you mean? I didn't tell her anything about you, well, I did slip up for a second but I played it off. All I told her about was sleepwalking and that has nothing to do with you, does it?

No, of course not. Why would you even suggest such a thing? You're being ridiculous. You know me, Ginny, I have nothing to do with that.

Ginny?

Ginny, where are you?

Ginny!

DON'T IGNORE ME!!!

Ginny looks at the diary, watching Tom meltdown and realizing that maybe she doesn't need this diary. She doesn't need the stress or the nightmares of hiding him anymore. She throws the diary in a toilet and flushes it, rushing out of the room and back to her dorm.
