So he decided. Wildberry was going to meet Crunchy Chip. It's not as if he had better things to do. Hollyberry was having a hang over, and it was decided that not even one of the ancients were fit for a council meeting.
So it was pushed down another day. Again. It was drizzling outside, and Crunchy Chip was showing Wildberry some tricks he had taught the Cream wolves. Wildberry stood a good distance from them, though. God, he did not want to be attacked again. The same Cream wolf that had attacked him once again snarled at him, then went to his master and cuddled him as if nothing had happened.
"I'm sorry, but that one looks like it has an issue with me." Wildberry said sternly. Crunchy Chip turned around. "You can tell them apart?" He looked at Wildberry, confused. "Well- it's only because that one has a spot, and that one has a line- it's just the small differences that help you tell them apart, I guess-"
"That's how I tell them apart!" Crunchy Chip exclaimed. "Gee, I'm surprised- really! No one- not even Dark Cacao- has been able to tell them apart." Wildberry looked around.
"Tell me more about this Clotted Cream guy." He then asked. "Well- he has blonde hair, he wears some sorta of weapon around him in a very fancy suit. He has green eyes and he likes sweet things. He even got me to try them and boy..." Crunchy Chip shuddered. "But like I said before, he's ok! He comes to talk to me a lot, actually. Like you! I guess... He comes round with that 'Financier' and asks me about my day and blah blah blah..." Wildberry hesitated.
"Ah... Do you- like- like him, or something?" Crunchy Chip blushed at the question. "W-WHAT?! C'MON MAN I JUST MET HIM! WHY THE FUCK WOULD I ALREADY HAVE FEELINGS?!" Crunchy Chip turned away, flustered as hell. "...But do you..?" Wildberry continued to ask. He was going to get the answer out of him. "I don't know. I'm not really a romantic guy, you know? I got a Kingdom to defend and I'd really be breaking my oath if-" "Yes or no."
"NO! I don't like him, ok!" Now that's the right answer. Good boy.
"Ok. Good. Now where can I find this guy? I want to talk to him about when's the meeting and about this place." Wildberry said. "Uh, he should be by his chambers, it's down the halls of yours-" "Wait. How do you know?" Wildberry shot him a look. No but seriously, how does he know? Perhaps he was sneaking, looking around, curiosity then? Unlikely.
"I was just... looking for someone, and I saw you go into your room, ok? So just down the hall from your chamber." Wildberry didn't say anything else.
"Ok. Thank you. I'll be back. Hopefully." "Heh. Why do you say as if your gonna go into a fight?" Wildberry turned to him. "Do you always have to point things out about me?" Crunchy Chip shrugged his shoulders. Wildberry walked away. Down the hall, past that too large cluster of cookies. He swore he saw Hollyberry there, too. He kept walking, he didn't want to be stopped by her-
"Greetings!" A cookie stopped by him, waving. He fit the description of Crunchy Chip perfectly: Blonde hair, though he had somewhat streaks; a weapon curled around him, a fancy suit. So this is him, huh? Doesn't look like much.
"Hello. You must be?" "Clotted Cream cookie! Nice to meet you!" He held out his hand, gesturing for him to shake it. "I'm not into that." Clotted Cream looked confused, and awkwardly put his hand away.
"So, what brings you to this part of the buildings? I can assure you that there's nothing interesting down here but I and Pure Vanilla's chamber!"
"I didn't come for that. I came for you." Wildberry put a hand on the wall. Clotted Cream leaned against it. "Ok then. What do you need?" He fixed his hair slightly. For some reason, that annoyed Wildberry.
"Who are you? What do you do? When's the council meeting? How long will you delay us for-"
"Questions! Questions! Questions!" He rose his voice. "Too many. But I'll try my best to answer them," he smiled. "Well, like I said, I'm Clotted Cream, I'm a council member of the creme republic, the council will- hopefully be tomorrow, and we won't delay you for any longer! What; do you have something better to do?" Clotted Cream got close to his face, you could smell the rich cream, and sweetness from him. How sickening.
"A matter a fact, yes. I do." Wildberry said darkly. This guy was pissing him off. Not like he already was by his mere existence. "What? Going back to Crunchy Chip? I'll tell you, that's not really much." Wildberry eye widened. How did he know? Was he, also, spying on the two?
"How do you know about that? You have nothing better to do with your life but spy and potentially eavesdrop on two cookies and their conversations?" Clotted Cream shrugged his shoulders and laughed.
"They weren't even that interesting anyway! Except, that Crunchy Chip..." he smiled. A shit eating smile.
"You know, he's funny. I like him. He's pretty cool and it would be even cooler if we worked together, and potentially," his two finger skidded on Wildberry's armoured hand. "Just potentially..." his smiled turned into a wide smirk. "We could... Hit it off." Wildberry pushed him. A little too hard, he bounced on the floor and hit his head. "Enough!" He said. He didn't shout. He maintained his cool, stern posture and sighed.
"Heh... so that's what makes you angry. Nice to know you like him that much that to a point you'd go and hurt someone-" "you pushed me to the edge. I feel no sympathy. Perhaps I'll let you bleed out, and leave you on the floor..." he trailed off. There, in Clotted Cream's now dirtied hand, held a recorder. He replayed it, cutting out the parts where he had provoked it. "Now." He got up, dusting off his clothes and walking to Wildberry. "You'll do what I want. Or I'll leak this to Hollyberry! Or even better..." he pointed to where Crunchy Chip was. "To him. Now what I want first from you is," he placed a hand on Wildberry's cheek.
"You."
