Season 1 Chapter 1

"Something is coming." Mike said as the party sat in the basement listening intensely to what he says "Something hungry for your blood." Mike said "What if it's the Demogorgon?" Dustin asked making the kids lean back in their chairs "It's not the Demogorgon." Lucas said

"If it's the Demogorgon, we're dead." Dustin said as Will glanced at Charlie who was focused on the book in his hands "It's not the Demogorgon." Lucas insisted "A hoard of juju zombies." Mike said placing the character on the table making Lucas throw his arms in the air while Will chuckled slightly

"But what's that? That sound." Mike said looking behind him "Boom. Boom. Boom!" Mike called making the kids jump in fear "The Demogorgon." Mike said placing the character on the table "Will, your action." Mike said "I don't-i don't know." Will said "Fireball him." Lucas said "Cast protection." Dustin said before they started arguing making Will look at Charlie

"Charlie." Will whispered making Charlie look up "What should i do?" Will asked making Charlie shrug "I don't know, you choose?" Charlie asked unsure of what to answer making Will smile slightly before turning back to the others "Fireball!" Will called throwing the dice onto the table but they fell on the ground making the kids look for it

"Charlie, help us find the dice?" Will asked making Charlie close his book and put it in his bag he stood up and started helping the boys search for the dice "Does the seven count?" Will asked "Is it a seven?" Lucas asked making Will nod "Did Mike see it?" Lucas asked making Will shake his head before Charlie looked on his watch

"Shit. Will, we need to go." Charlie said making everyone stop for a moment before starting to get their things and walk up the stairs "I'll be right back." Charlie said before walking upstairs and knock on Nancy's door Nancy looked at the door making Charlie wave "Hang on." Nancy said before putting the phone down and walk to the door

"You're going home?" Nancy asked "No, i sleep at Will's tonight." Charlie said "Oh." Nancy said nodding "Okay, see you tomorrow, Charm." Nancy smiled "Til tomorrow, ma'am." Charlie said saluting while smiling making Nancy chuckle before Charlie walked downstairs "Goodbye, mrs Wheeler, mr Wheeler." Charlie smiled "Bye, Charlie." Karen and Ted said as Charlie walked outside to his bike

"It was a seven." Will said to Mike as Charlie got on his bike and waited for Will "What?" Mike asked "The dice. It was a seven." Will said before biking away "See you tomorrow." Will said as Charlie followed him "Bye Mike." Charlie said "Bye, Charlie." Mike said as he watched his friends biking away from his house before he walked inside

"Bye guys." Lucas said turning to his house "Bye." Charlie and Will said "Give your mom a goodnight kiss from me!" Dustin called before turning to the Byers boy and the Munson boy "Let's race to my house, first one there gets a comic." Dustin said "Any comic?" Will asked making Dustin nod Will looked at Charlie who nodded making them bike faster

"Hey, i didn't say go!" Dustin called trying to follow them "I take your x-men 134!" Will called continuing to bike "Son of a bitch." Dustin said under his breath as he stopped in front of his house while watching the two best friends bike away

Will's and Charlie's bike light started flickering making the kids look at each other before looking at their bike lights the lights suddenly turned off making the kids look at the street seeing a creature that growled making the kids move out of the way falling off their bikes they slowly stood up to look at the creature

"Will, run." Charlie said but Will didn't move so he grabbed his hand and ran to his house "Mom? Jonathan?" Will asked looking around his house "Call your mom's store." Charlie said making Will run to the phone and call his mom's store but instead of hearing his mom he heard static

Charlie nudged his best friend pointing at the door making Will look at the door seeing the shadow of the creature he dropped the phone and grabbed Charlie's arm Will ran out of his house dragging Charlie with him into the shed behind the Byers' house

Charlie quickly grabbed the shotgun and put ammo in it pointing it at the door in case the creature comes back while Will hid behind him they were silent only their heavy breathing was heard when they heard a sound from behind them they slowly turned around and Charlie let go of the gun seeing the creature
