The next day (Percy POV)
I woke up. Gods, I have a terrible headache. What happened yesterday?
Just then the scene on the beach flashed into my mind. I rmb seeing Annabeth making out with a guy.'Hmmmm.... he looked familiar. What's his name again？ Cat ,Donkey, Cave...Oh right, it was Dave! Or was it...?'
I frowned. I still couldn't believe Annabeth would do that. I quickly got dressed and went to the mess hall , hoping to confront Annabeth about what I saw yesterday.
------Time skipping to the mess hall[we don't need to know how Percy walked]------
When I got to the mess hall, everyone was surrounding a couple. It looks like the boy was proposing. I pushed through the crowd to get a better view. But I regretted doing that.
In the center of the crowd was Cave... I mean Dave[Sorry, NOt sorry] on one knee holding a ring and proposing to a blonde girl.
WAIT
That's my blonde girl.
Everyone else starting cheering loudly. "Marry him, Marry him!" Even the seven(or six without Percy) were congratulating Dave and Annabeth.
I couldn't believe my eyes. My heart shattered into pieces at that moment. "A..Annabeth, pls tell me this is not happening" i begged her, tears brimming my eyes.
She gasps and turns around to face me. "Per...Percy yr back..... so soon." She stuttered ignoring my question.
"What is happening !" I demanded.
She wouldn't even look into my eyes. "I...I'm sorry but I love Dave"
I scoffed "Oh.... so does falling into Tartarus for you not enough?! What did Dave do for you, he could barely kill a hellhound!"
Annabeth looked closed to tears. Dave sneered "Shut it Jackson, she clearly loves me so stop bothering her"
I laughed and took the ring out "I've been gone for quests these three months just to marry you, I even got you a ring. But you choose Dave, who proposed to you with a can ring[The thing on a can where you need to pull 易拉环] For a daughter of Athena, you really are stupid[No offense to children of Athena out there]"
I threw the ring at Annabeth. Then, things got blurry. I only rmb that I broke down, screaming at the pain in my heart. Apparently, I almost flooded the camp.
