Percy's POV
I woke up groggily and realized that I am in my cabin. The first person I saw was Nico who was at my side playing with his mythomagic card.
"Nico....can you pass me the water" I asked tiredly.
Nico quickly pass me a glass of water. He also told me that after he finished his mission from his father, he came back to CHB. When he reached here, he saw me collapsing and the camp almost ruined.
I sighed and told him what happened. Nico was so furious he stormed out to find Dave and Annabeth. I smiled a little. At least he believed me when no one did.
Suddenly, there was a soft sea breeze and I saw my father looking at me with both furious and disappointment.
"Dad" I started.
But he interrupted me "Perseus Jackson, I am so disappointed with you, how dare you use your powers on your friends. I Poseidon, god of the seas hereby disown Perseus Achilles Jackson as my son and adopt Dave."
The sky rumbled and the sea became restless. I felt pain and a ball of light left my chest. I dropped down on my knees feeling extremely pain and.......weak. I can't believe my fa.... he did that, after all I've done for him, he just threw me away like yesterday's news. I picked myself up with difficulty and made a choice that would change my life forever.[NO spoilers in the comments section you naughty children ;)]
That's it!
I'm leaving.
At the gates of CHB I look back once more. I thought about my once friends who I fought in wars with but betrayed my in the end. I thought about those who I once protected but too betrayed me. I thought about my once girlfriend and love of my life Annabeth who betrayed my for that useless excuse of a demigod Dave. And I thought about my baby cousin, Nico who is probably in a fight with Dave and Annabeth right now. I smiled sadly 'I'm sorry Nico, I won't be there for you anymore, hope you can finally get to yr senses and date that son of Apollo' I thought. Then, I turn around and left CHB.
For good.
