All day, I thought about my new friend. And everytime I did, my heart started racing and racing and racing, and a field of flowers appeared in my mind.
Damn it! Why am I so crazy?! Because you love him of course!
Wait, who the hell are you? That is classified info!
Just get out of my head before-
"Miss l/n!" My teacher yelled. I was therefore shaken out of my conversation with myself.
"Y-yes?"
My teacher smiled slightly. "Please explain to your classmates what happened during the Boston Massacre."
I hesitated. My teacher was a huge butt, so she tried to find every possible excuse to blame her students for no reason.
And yet, today she had a reason.
"I see. Please pay attention next time, l/n?" She turned back to the chalkboard. A few giggles rumbled from my classmates.
A blast of hatred swept through me like a storm. All I thought about was trying to kill everyone in this class. Then, Killua's smile appeared in my head.
Then, everything seemed to ebb, and my mind began to melt.

I realized a long time ago, but waiting kind of SUCKS. I've been waiting for Killua for hour, it seems. So all I did was read Dorothy Must Die at a table by myself.
"What the hell does that mean? Dorothy Must Die..."
That same voice from yesterday, the one that distracted me in class. I looked up, and I saw Killua wearing a very light blue shirt over a dark blue turtleneck and black and white shorts. He was frowning at the cover of the book.
"Killua! You're here..." I murmured.
"Of course I'm here. Didn't I tell you I was going to be?" He retorted.
"Don't be a jerk, Zoldyck." I snapped. He was kinda mean today...
"I'm not being a jerk." He sat down in the chair across from mine.
"Really?" I asked, looking down to my book.
"I'm just confused about that title. What the hell does that mean?" Killua interrogated.
"Just Dorothy must die."
"Yeah, but who is Dorothy? You mean from the Wizard of Oz?"
"Exactly."
"Did she do something that made her infamous?"
"She's being a bitch."
"In what way?"
"No more freaking questions!" I quickly bookmarked my page and slammed the book shut.
"Well sorry, miss y/n." Killua narrowed his eyes.
A bit of guilt came over me. "I'll get something for us. Want anything?"
Killua's eyes widened, and he suddenly grabbed my wrists. I gasped slightly, a blush coloring my cheeks. "Chocolate. Milkshake."
He slowly let go of my wrists. The blush was still on my face. And, worse, he pointed it out...!
"Ooh, is someone blushing at my touch?" He smirked smugly.
An anime vein popped upon the side of my forehead. "Kono... BAKA GA!" I half yelled. "Why must you point that out?!"
I remember my cousin... Saying something about this...
=====================================
"Vera, when you fall in love-" Rose began as she unfolded her Cinderella blanket. I cut her off.
"Rosie, I told you once, I told you twice, and this is the umpteenth time I've said so: I WON'T fall in love! And my NAME is y/n! Not Vera!" I slapped her thigh softly.
"Too bad, I'm calling you Vera. Anyway, when you fall in love, you will know immediately."
I stared at my cousin in disbelief. "What do you mean by that, Rose?"
She winked at me, apparently planning something I wouldn't like. "All it takes, is a little something."
===========================================
Is this what she meant...? I don't know. I don't really care...
"Y/n. Y/n. Y/n!" Killua had been calling me in the middle of my memories. He shook me from my momentary trance. "You called me an idiot then spaced out." He chuckled. He blinked his blue eyes fondly. "You are an interesting girl, aren't you?"
"Uh-uhh... I'll get us something!" I changed the subject quickly, got up from my seat, and walked to the counter. I could feel eyes burning into the back of my neck.
I came back with a chocolate milkshake, and a (favorite drink). I placed Killua's drink in front of him.
I tried to reach for my book while I sipped my (favorite drink). I couldn't find my copy of Dorothy Must Die.
"Killua, have you seen my- oh, come ON!" I spotted him reading my book. I don't know, (and I don't care) how the hell he got to it. But I wanted it back. Now...!
"Give it back, please, mister Zoldyck." I placed my hand out in front of him.
"What? Sorry, I was trying to copy you." He started to mimic me. "Oh, I'm y/n~. I like to read~. I get flustered up because Killua touched my wrists~. I space out after I blow up at someone~." He made a feminine voice and everything.
"Oh really? Now it's my turn!" I began to mimic him. "Oh, I'm Killua. I get too excited over crap like chocolate, and grab a girl's wrist, because I'm in love with y/n~. And-"
"Okay, one, you suck at mimicking, two, don't talk shit about chocolate, and three, I do NOT love you!" Killua's cheeks were a deep red, and he pointed his index finger in my face.
"Hey!" I swatted his finger out of my face. "I didn't interrupt you when you were mimicking me! And I do NOT suck at mimicking people! I just don't do it that often!" I snapped.
"You still suck."
"Mou...! No I don't! I don't suck!" I pouted and threw my fists in the air.
"Aw... How cute..." Killua smiled sweetly and rested his elbow in the table while his chin rested on his palm.
I blushed madly. "Shut up! I am not cute!!" I shouted seriously.
His smile dissipated into a frown. "That isn't how you actually feel, is it, y/n?"
I hesitated. Is that how I see myself? I...
"Tch... Whatever... It's getting dark. I'd better get home soon." I looked out the window if the cafe. It was getting dimmer.
Killua's eyes widened, and his smile appeared again. "Can I take you home?! Yes? Let's go then!"
I love how he didn't care about my permission. He grabbed my arm, and literally DRAGGED me to the door.
"W-wait! Let me get my (favorite drink) fiiiiiiiiiiirst! Killua Zoldyck!!!!"
