"Harrison! Whats going on little man!"

I skidded over to my 4 foot curly haired
Friend,
completely hidden to the neck up in his winter set of brown strapless mittens and toasty denim overcoat.

All left visible was his kitten green eyes and a splattering of unassuming ancestral brown freckles. He looked cute.
Harrison was a childhood companion of ours at the ice rink, many memories pile over my mind from exchanging candies and sodas with a once 12 year old little boy, racing with him and his friends when we were at the prime age of 14.

Friday evenings were like Christmas presents then. Back when life was a much more simple pill to swallow.

" Destiny! You left me again!"
Harrison exclaimed hotly.

"You dissappear for like half a year, and then you just randomly return to the rink!"

"You've grown!" I note brightly, shifting the conversation to something easier to swallow.
Harrison shot me an unimpressed look.
"You think I'm gonna buy that D?"

Maybe...

"Sorry little man but your girl has been going east west and south since she was young! You cant expect me to stay a happy camper in one place too long you know." I smile.

"Well, i suppose all is forgiven now that you're back." Harry beams, looking even sweeter than before. "I really missed talking to yo-"

"SIS watch out!"

Huh? Was thats Nia's voice just now-

SkKRRK!
a sharp metal slices the air, cutting over my nose by exactly a inch in a single flash!
"WHAT THE-"
In a split second thin sheddings of ice coat our eyes and fills our mouths as a skater curves by us dangerously.
"CO€-"
I cough at the shock of ice water now right on my tounge, my scarf now dripping with cold moisture.

The black figure spins back, in a perfect triple eight position, extentions at a exact degree of 180. His form is perfect.
This guy didn't do that by accident...
I glare angrily at the spinning boy.
Thats-
"Lauren!" Harrison stutters, still coughing from the share of ice water.
"Was that him?"

"Do you see any other Grim reapers around? Offcourse its him!"
I exhale.

As annoying as he is, his technique is undeniably  flawless...He travels over the ice like he's trying to write poetry, his lower body bridges across the red lines of the rink before dancing back into a simple spin.
Then he starts running...running?
OH SHIT HE'S COMING THIS WAY.

"HE'S GONNA KILL US-" Harrison exclaims, shaking his head fast.
"Oh no oh no no no."
Lauren keeps running closer and closer, a huge grin on his face before both his legs lift off the ground and heels spin over our heads.

Harrison is now tugging my arm crazily but I can't move, I can't speak. I'm paralysed to my spot.
"DESTINY I DONT WANNA DIEE."

SKRAEAAAAATE!!!

"That's enough Laur."
I slowly open my eyes to see that I'm by some miracle, not dead. Another guy is in front of Harrison and I, shielding us from any impact.
Is that....
"Are you both okay?" Jackson turns round, familiar jet black hair coating his thick judgemental brows.
Wawawait. JACKSON?!

His cheeks flush even pinker at the sight of us all.
When did he get so tall....and bold?
When did he grow up to be...this?!

He's the one who would try and impress the girls with his crazy spins but would aimlessly hit the ground!

And now...he looks like this.
Jackson's eyes shift from Harrison to me, mouth open wide.

"Hey Destiny! Long time no see! Remember me?"
