Chapter Two - Reunion

Noxus woke Valgard up with his incessant licking "Hello you!" Valgard mumbled whilst stroking his companion. He was still in bed but Thor charged in with his usual bellow "Hello brother, we have a wedding to attend today! Loki and Valka are getting married!" Thor jumped up and down excitedly. "You do love a good wedding brother!" Valgard laughed as he got himself up. "Now leave the room as I get dressed!" he demanded. Thor thumped him on the arm and then left.

An hour later, they were all stood outside in the beautiful forest that was laden with snow. "I wonder if Valka remembers me!" Valgard said to Thor as they walked towards a crowd of people who were all dressed rather smartly. A woman who was wearing a beautiful green and gold dress was pacing anxiously, she turned around to see Thor and Valgard. Suddenly her eyes widened "'Oh, it's really you Valgard!" She grabbed him and placed him in a headlock, this was a tradition that had first happened when they were children. "It's absolutely wonderful to see you Valka, I was just telling Thor I wasn't sure you would remember me!" He replied. She released him from the headlock and grinned at him. A bell started sounding, she made her way up to the beautiful wooden altar and she spotted her love Loki giving her the "I absolutely adore you!" eyes.

The wedding went without a hitch apart from Thor having to wrestle a rogue bear to the ground. "Look here, you don't belong here, go back into those woods!" He panted as he threw the bear into the direction of the woods. "Don't Earthlings have a joke about bears defecating in the woods?" Valgard giggled to Thor who just looked at him bemused.

Valka and Loki had their first dance under the glimmering stars and Noxus's howling added to the magical atmosphere. " Oh brother, waaaah, this is beautiful!" Thor wept. Odin came over to him and said "Why didn't you tell me you had found Valgard?" Valgard stood up, knelt down with his head down and then got up again. "Father, I am so sorry for what happened, I was ashamed of what you would think of me!" Valgard whispered as he looked away. Odin pulled him to a quieter area with Frigg, Valgard's mother running to her long lost son and embracing him. "Son, you came back! You shouldn't have left in the first place!" She sobbed.

"Mother, father. I am not with wife as you know. But there is a reason for this." Valgard told them solemnly. "I am a homosexual, I have no feelings for any woman." Odin and Frigg looked at each other in shock. But they knew immediately what to say. " We love you, we will not abandon you or disown you." They both chorused. "That was impressive!" Thor chimed in as he grabbed Valgard into a bear hug. "Brother, you are safe. I accept you for who you are!" The family held each other tight then returned to the party.

Valka and Loki soon departed for their honeymoon. Noxus came up to Valgard and side by side, they walked back home as Thor carried on drinking with the locals.
