After dinner, Valgard decided to go for a walk with Noxus into the woods and clear his head. He was happy but he still couldn't get what had happened to him in these woods out of his mind. Noxus started whining and pawing at Valgard's leg. "Okay boy, here's some food!" he whispered to his pal as he pointed towards some freshly killed deer. Noxus tucked in and Valgard sat down next to him. But just as he has started ro gather his thoughts, he heard crackling of leaves behind him.
He jumped up and his eyes changed colour with lightning bolts forming ready to attack. "Oh don't do that, you wouldn't want to hurt a woman would you?" said a very familiar voice. "Xena!" gasped Valgard as he slowly turned around. "What are you doing here?" She stepped forward and replied "I need to speak to your brother!" "How did you know he's my brother?" Valgard questioned, still keeping his fighting stance. " There's trouble in my land, I need his help but I'm well aware we are not the best of friends, I need to get him to trust me, I hope he can" Xena replied, a tinge of sadness in her voice.
Valgard returned to his normal form and replied " I can take you to him, he might not be very welcoming though!" Soon they walked back into Asgard and it couldn't have been better timing as Thor could be seen knocking back a goblet of beer. "Ha ha ha. delicious! Now who wants to fight...." He cried before turning to find Xena stood right in front of him. His whole demeanour changed and he growled "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" "You're not THAT scary Thor!" Xena retorted with a small smirk on her face. " I know you don't like me but I genuinely want to call a pact on our feud and there's a reason for this, my land is in trouble. We need your help, and perhaps your brother's too!" Thor searched her face for any hints of lying but he noticed she was welling up and he soon calmed down.
"Okay, I cannot stay mad with you for too long but no more betrayals!" he firmly told her. "Valgard, go get your swords, you might need them!" Noxus decided to go fetch them and in no time at all returned with them. "Thank you Noxus!" We need Valka and Loki!" Valgard replied. "We're here!" came two voices as they bounded over.
Loki opened up a portal and they all went charging through......
