Chapter Four - The Fire Storm

Noxus and Valgard were taking a peaceful stroll through the woods, discovering more and more of Asgard as they started settling into their surroundings. Valgard had built his own home for the pair of them and it was situated near a river where Noxus was able to roam free.

They came to a small bridge where it had parts of a broken tree stuck in it. Valgard used his new powers to blast the tree away and allow the bridge to return to its former glory. "This is a lovely place isn't it Noxus?" Valgard said as he looked into the stunning eyes of his beloved companion. Noxus stood still and suddenly he let out a huge howl which reverberated for miles around. "Danger is coming isn't it?" Valgard replied as his eyes turned green and he suddenly saw a orange light running towards him. He dived to one side and he let out his lightning bolts to hit this invader, they slammed into the chest and the invader fell backwards down into a ditch.

"Who are you and why are you here?" Valgard shouted. "I am The Human Torch and I am here to destroy this forest!' came the response. Human Torch jumped back up and came face to face with Valgard. "I am not going to let you do that!" Valgard cried and he shot numerous lightning bolts into Human Torch. But this was to no avail as Himan Torch grabbed Valgard and flung him into a lake. Suddenly, footsteps were pounding the pavement and Thor came in to fight Human Torch. He roared "DO NOT DO THAT AGAIN!" and he swung his hammer at Human Torch's head.

Human Torch grabbed hold of Thor as Valgard pulled himself out of the water. "Your brother will die!" He said evilly. Just as he was about to cause damage however, Noxus ran towards him howling and leapt right at him. Human Torch stepped back and screamed as he became no more.

"Thor, are you alright?" said Valgard as he saw a wound on Thor's head. "I will recover, let's get back home!" Thor replied. They soon got back to Asgard and Noxus was being treated to lots of food for saving the life of Thor. "You are a good boy!" Both brothers chorused as they fussed him.

Valka came into the room and was stunned to find them in the state they were. "What on Asgard has happened?" she said with a tone of concern. "Human Torch decided to pay yet another visit, but this time he's gone for good!" Thor told her as he hugged her reassuringly. Valgard was too busy fuming about what had happened. "Brother, we will need to work together in future I feel!" He whispered as he laid down on his bed. " We will, and The Avengers will need your help too!" Thor responded as he left the room with Valka.
