The tension in the room was broken by Cai entering the room followed by Eunwoo.
The latter's face was streaked with tears and whiter than Jungkook had ever seen it.

He reluctantly turned away from Ta-V and stood in front of the boy.
"I-"

"Shut up. You're one of them, too. You're a fucking monster too." He spat in his face and Cai tightened his grip on his wrists.

Jungkook felt V approaching behind him and with a superior air said
"The loser said you can choose to do what you want with him, but if you give us permission we would like to experience things."

"Shall I give you permission? I don't own him. You can ask him." Feeling confused, Eunwoo chuckled bitterly.

"Are you being a saint now?"

"Why don't you just give up? It would be easier for you instead of making this useless scene." Soyeon complained annoyed.

"Ah sorry eh. I'm also boring you." Eunwoo's voice sounded bitter sarcasm before adding.

"You killed my friends, I will never let you do whatever you want."

"But look at him." Said Namjoon.
"Now he's playing the saint. When your father imprisoned Taehyung for two days to get answers about the plant and when their colleagues used the leaves on children's bodies, you were there watching Eunwoo. There are the videos to prove it."

"What?" Jungkook didn't even realise he had spoken.

"Oh I forgot, we haven't told you yet. See you know why we called them rebels?" Namjoon began amused.

"Because they rebelled against something they themselves helped initiate." He laughed amused.

"Their parents were part of the government team. The whole group, did you really think they joined by chance? They were working and experimenting for the government before Taehyung came along. The rebels finished university a year ago and followed their fathers' or mothers' careers."

Jungkook was beginning to feel anger down his spine.

"When Tae was caught, they used the plant on children and men who were there, even on the nurses themselves. It was because of them that the virus spread and found a way to survive." Blake added

"The child and the doctor did not survive because Satus had not reacted well to their bodies. One too small, the other too old. But thanks to a poison added by the scientists, it managed to make room between the cells and found a way to survive."
Jungkook thought all that was just too much for him. All in a single day, in fact in a single morning. He just wanted to close his eyes and push all the problems away.

"When Taehyung killed the guard team that was supposed to ask the questions and took the bonsai away, he didn't know that something was different. He hadn't realised it yet, until the plant started to react. But it was too late and the scientists-now zombies-had started to kill. The rebels are those who managed to escape."

"I know it's a lot to digest." Soyeon's gentle gaze rested on him as she squeezed his shoulder with her hand in a comforting manner.

"But you're finally discovering the truth you've been searching for so long."
He flinched away and turned to Eunwoo with anger building up

"And- why then do you want to kill my husband? It was your fucking fault!"

"Because it all started from that fucking bonsai! We had read the messages and thought it was a cure, not something that would start the end of the world!"

"Well! Guess what asshole!"

"Your husband created Satus! The poison we added was to soften the trunk of the plant that looked as hard as a fucking rock! If it wasn't for Satus, there wouldn't have been any of this! Your husband deserves to die along with these idiots you protect!"
