Jungkook was literally falling into the void, his body was speeding up the fall every second and no matter what he tried to hold on to, all around him was water in a huge spiral and he could see nothing but a reflection of himself.

When his body collided against something hard, he groaned in pain and squeezed his eyes shut.

He blinked several times and touched his ears with his fingers, waiting for the ringing to go away.

A loud commotion surrounded him.

When he came into focus, he noticed he was lying in the middle of the street with people coming and going and all talking loudly, accompanied by the sounds of car engines whizzing by.

"Where the hell am I?" He wondered under his breath.

He tried to stop a boy of his age, but was ignored.

He tried with an old man and was ignored.

And he was ignored again.

When he tried again - hopelessly - he heard a familiar laugh coming from across the street.

He turned sharply and ran towards it but was stopped by an amount of people blocking his view.

He asked to pass, but was ignored.

Losing patience completely, he pushed through but the people had stopped walking and formed a large wall between him and the person he would have been searching for all his life even if only to spend five minutes together.

"Let me go through!"

"Tae! Taehyung! I'm here!"

However, the more he shouted to be heard, the more the group of people pushed him to the other side as if he were a small fragment of sand against the ocean.

But he would not give up.
That never.

He kept pushing and pushing harder and harder, not caring if he would hurt anyone.

When he thought he had finally succeeded, he realised that he had now been carried too far.

They had dragged him further and further forward.

And it was when he realised he had no idea where he was.

The road was getting darker and darker ahead as the light seemed to get further and further away.

There was something - something he could not see - that seemed to pull him further and further into the dark, but he could not think about it too much.

He had heard Taehyung's laughter, he would catch up with him no matter what.

"You must look ahead." He heard his own voice - only older - at his side and noticed that the - his reflection? - was beside him again.

"I can't."

"Why?"

"Because Taehyung is over there." He pointed behind them and the other nodded.

"But there is something unknown in front of you, don't you want to find out what it is? Aren't you curious?"

"I am. I can't wait to know what it is."

"But?"

"But I think it would be better if Taehyung was here to find out with me."

The other rolled his eyes upwards and clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"You can't have it both ways, kid."

"Then I'll choose the one that's worth it."
He made to turn back but a grip on his wrist stopped him.

"You might regret it."
