BREAKING NEWS! #BongLeni trending ngayon sa social media.

The TV blared out the news as the reporter expounded on the headline:

"Ngayon na tapos na ang eleksyon, may bagong pakulo nanaman ang ating mga netizens. Ang #BongLeni!

Some would say na isa itong coping method ng ilan nating mga kababayan na nabigo sa resulta ng halalan.

Ngunit! Ano ba ang masasabi ng iba sa kanila sa tambalang Bong Bong at Leni?"

The news cut off to a series of short clips interviewing different citizens about their opinion on the matter.

"Leni at Bong Bong? Tama yun! Huwag na sila mag-away. Lab lab nalang!"

"Hindi pwede! Akin lang si pops!!! Pops, I love you!"

"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Kaya talaga hindi naunlad ang politika dito sa Pilipinas. Mga kabataan talaga - puno ng kalokohan!"

"Eww, no! VP Leni and BBM dislike each other kayaa."

"Ohmmm... Ayon sa kanilang mga star sign ay mukhang compatible naman sila... Ohmmm..."

"Eh kung gusto panindigan ni Bong Bong ang UNITY na sinasabi niya - why not, diba? Whoo! Shout out nga pala sa aso namin diyan! Happy birthday, Brutus!"

The news then showed a bunch of edited photos and some video compilations portraying Bong Bong and Leni as a couple. The reporter added,

"At hindi lang sa mga photo at video edits lumalayag ang #BongLeni, mga kababayan. Pati narin sa mga libro!

Alam niyo ba na hundreds of fanfiction na ang naisulat tungkol sa love story nila? Some are pretty romantic while some are VERY wild and sexy- "

Leni Robredo quickly turned off the TV before she could hear more from the news.

She can't take it anymore. She looked up at the ceiling in frustration and said,

"Sa lahat ng tao - bakit kami pa talaga ni Marcos???"

Suddenly, she heard a woman chuckle behind her. Leni turned around and found out that it's just her best friend, Risa Hontiveros.

"What's so funny, senri? Can't you see na frustrated ako ngayon?"

"Sorry naman, malens. Ba't ka kasi nanunood ng mga ganyan?"

"Gusto ko lang naman maging updated sa news. Hindi ko naman ine-expect na yun ang bubungad sakin."

They were both in the Vice Presidential Office. Risa was helping her pack up along with her staff since Leni would be moving out soon as the outgoing VP.

Risa tried to ease Leni's frustration by saying,

"I don't think it's THAT bad. Fiction lang naman yun diba? It's not like magiging totoo yun... Unless?"

"Risa!" Leni scolded.

Risa laughed. She confessed to Leni,

"Don't tell anyone but I've actually read some of it for fun kasi na-curious ako..."

"Ano!?"

"Yes. Gusto mo i-forward ko sayo?"

"Ew, Risa! Wag kang ganyan!"

"Sus. Wala naman mawawala sayo."

"Nababaliw ka na ata."

Risa's smile slowly faded as she said,
