"Rise n' shine dude."

I wake up to the sound of Plagg's voice.

He's currently the boy I'm mentoring

Everyone usually ignores him but honestly, he's the one constant in my life right now. Everything else is just kind of rotating. All the time.

"What's up! I didn't know you were coming over today. Happy Birthday! Also, why are you in my room?"

"Well, I'm here now. Also, one of the maids let me in."

Suddenly, the door opened up and my Aunt came through.

"Good Morning Adrien. What are you doing?"

"Just talking to Plagg."

"Oh. Well, it's time for breakfast."

Once again Plagg was ignored.

Usually, I try to convince him to eat with us but he always declines.

"I'll see you outside," Plagg said.

"Ok," we seperated once we got to the stairs and I sat down in the living room.

"So Adrien... do you know what day it is?"

"No..."

I do but I don't wanna hear it. It's been two years.

"It's the day of the incident."

"No."

"Adrien-"

"NO," I slam my hand down on the table and walk towards the door.

"ADRIEN SIT DOWN."

I flinch and slowly take a seat.

Amelie quickly returned to her normal, cheerful self.

"We are having dinner tonight with Felix, Bridgette, Emma, Luka, Kagami, and a bunch of other friends and family to remember her. Adrien... It's been two years. Maybe it's better to remember. Dr. Monet says that it will make it easier to heal. Adrien...you've been here for two years. While I do enjoy your company, wouldn't you like to move back to your old homes? Let everything go back to normal."

"Memories. I...I can't. I-I hurt her family I-Please don't make me go to that party."

"Adrien you are 26-years-old. I can't force you to do anything like that."

I let out a sigh of relief.

"However I'm sure Emma would love to meet her Uncle Adrien wouldn't she?"

I smile.

"Yeah, I'm sure she would."

"Then it's settled. Everyone will come over today. I promise, no one will confront you about her in any way. Now, Adrien if you begin feeling uncomfortable feel free to go upstairs."

"Mhm," I reply quickly going upstairs to my room to grab some stuff.

Whenever someone mentions her name it gives me goosebumps.

When they ask for me to tell them about her I tell them that I don't remember.

Then the questions happen.

"What do you mean you dont remember?"

"Wow, she deserved better."

"Love of your life...really?"

"I bet her parents are so angry."

It's even worse when I tell them I don't wanna remember. And I get it. It sounds really bad. It's the truth though.
