Adrien hummed a song as he danced across the living room. The furniture had been moved against the walls and two tiny feet stood on top of his. His hands were three times larger than hers.

1-year-old Emma giggled.

Adrien smiled and began humming louder.

As she got older, Bridgette and Felix started noticing that her speech wasn't at the place it should be. They later learned she had a hearing problem and she had recently been given hearing aids.

Before this diagnosis, Felix had asked Adrien for help by sending a text saying,

'I think something's wrong with Emma.'

That gave him a heart attack. Then, Felix stopped answering texts and calls until a week later, asking Adrien about bringing Emma to China so Felix and his wife could go on vacation with a few friends.

Adrien almost said no out of disbelief.

"Mhm ba da da da," The girl said to the tune her uncle had been humming.

Adrien looked down at her and smiled.

"You like that song?"

"Mhm," she replied.

"My mom used to sing it all the time. It makes everything all better."

"Yay!" Emma smiled

"Aren't you happy to be back?"

Adrien looked up at Marinette and smiled.

"Yeah, I guess."

"Let's go meet the others. I planned this meet-up for everyone. Everyone is in France right now. Just in time for our anniversary."

The meet-up was not peaceful whatsoever. Everyone kept wishing Adrien a happy belated 19th birthday. Nathaniel came last with a big canvas.

Everyone suddenly quieted down and Adrien who had been watching videos with his niece, glanced up.

"So, Adrien," Marinette spoke up, "Because it's our anniversary I asked Nathaniel to paint something. Nathaniel?"

The cover was removed and a beautiful painting of Marinette and Adrien was revealed.

Adrien remembered the day that picture was taken. He was at his last photoshoot and asked Marinette to participate. They had been sitting on a picnic blanket in the grass when unexpectedly, the wind picked up an their hair went crazy.

The painting perfectly captured the joy and surprise in their eyes. Marinette held tightly onto her sun hat and her blue and white dress and Adrien was trying to make the picnic blanket stay put.

"I've been working on this since graduation, trying to make it perfect. Hope you like it."

"I-it's beautiful."

"Everyone knew except for you Adrien," Marinette laughed, "I thought you would've figured it out."

"Oh that reminds me," Adrien replied, "You haven't been paying attention all that well either."

"What?"

"Marinette, I know that we're only 19 but it feels like it's been forever. I love you and since I've settled down way earlier than expected, I wanted to ask."

Adrien dropped to one knee.

"Adrien if this is a joke I swear-"

"Will you marry me?"
