Part 2 of Dreams or Nightmares
Fluff and a bit of angst at beginning 🌺 🌧️
Todoroki's pov
*Before he "died"*
Children were roaming around the abandoned streets. They're old streets but kept up well. Everyone knows they're meant for kids now.
"You should go play with some!" I smiled at Katsuki
"You think I would ever play with kids?" He grumbled
"I would think you would want to prepare just in case we have kids."
"Fine!" He stomped off towards the kids
I looked up to the sky just knowing that today wasn't going to be a good day. The sky was once sunny and now cloudy and gloomy. I shivered as I felt cold wind blow by.
The hair on my arms pricked up. My body went so tense and my heart pounding. I could hear whispering in my ear.
"Nobody can save you in this state!"
Then cold wind blew me so strongly that I hit the wall. My head hit the wall hard and started to bleed. Everything went blurry, last thing I saw was Katsuki fighting the villain and trying to protect the children.
*After*
My eyes opened slowly and I looked around. Katsuki isn't here. The only person in the room is Aizawa sitting next to me.
"This might be sudden considering that you just woke up." He sighed
"What is it?"
"We think this villain was after you, best thing we can do is announce you're dead."
"What about Katsuki!?" I yelled
"Shoto, he'll have to move on just like you." I could see the pain in his eyes
"I'm not leaving him, he won't be fine!"
"You have to worry about yourself! Bakugou doesn't have anyone trying to kill him."
"Promise me he'll be fine." I mumbled

After seeing him again I felt a feeling of comfort but also worry. I was worried because he should have moved on and seeing me could make everything worse.
"How are you here?" Katsuki mumbled
I couldn't reply, the words got stuck in my throat. My senses came back and I quickly got up trying to walk away.
"You can't just walk away!" He grabbed my wrist
"Let me go." I gulped
If I look at him my whole plan will be ruined. I'll just end up staying when I have to go. It's not good for him.
"Katsuki let me go."
"First explain how you're even here!"
"There's no point in explaining."
"I deserve an explanation considering you're supposed to be dead."
Suddenly he started pulling me somewhere. I tried to get away and struggle but nothing was working.
He opened a door to a cafe and we sat down at a table. I looked around realizing that nothing here has changed.
"This is where we had our first date." I whispered
"So you still remember and just decided to not come back." He wouldn't look at me
"I was in danger Katsuki. Aizawa wanted me to put myself first."
"What because you don't think I can protect you?"
"I was trying to protect you!"
"But you don't understand that it's so much worse without you! You act like it's just easy to believe you were dead and be fine."
"I thought you would move on."
"You think I could just move on?"

Now we're at the park sitting on a bench. Why am I still here with him? I ask myself the same thing.
"Have you ever just sat here staring at the sunset?" He asked
"No, I barely ever come here."
"I came here all the time watching them because it reminded me of you."
"I look nothing like a sunset!" I laughed
"Shut your trap up before I blow you out of the universe! We had lots of memories here too." He yelled
"Is that the worse threat you have?"
"As of right now, yes."
"I could do much worse." I giggled
"Like?"
I stood up walking to the lake in front of us. Dipping my hand in I splashed him with lots of water.
He stood up and splashed me back, which resulted in us fighting with water and being soaked. This reminds me of how it used to be.
