My final year of high school and how do I start ... by moving away. Well technically moving back, anyway, I'm Lenora Thornton I don't remember much about Hawkins. I remember our house and how small and raggedy it was. I didn't remember many people either just a few friends but I doubt anyone remembers me. Never being the outgoing type made it harder for me to make friends or be noticed by anyone.
Though now it's a new start, again.~
"Nora get up we're here!" my sister said smacking me on the head.
"I'm going jeez, what are you rushing for the house isn't going anywhere." I said to her stepping out of the car. Staring up at the house it was a one story house, the paint was chipped, pieces of broken wood and windows but other than that it seemed fine enough
Walking to the front porch my parents already at the door waiting for us so we could all walk in and see it together. As soon as my dad unlocked the front door my sister ran in to find the biggest room. Of course Ms. Annalise had to have all the space in the world. Not that I minded I didn't really care about bigger rooms and all that as long as I had a bed, tv and a place to do my art.
"I call this room" Annalise said from down the hallway.
When I walked in I could immediately tell it was the bigger room.
"Alright sweetheart, Nora which room would you like?" my mom asked.
"I don't really care whichever is fine, plus you and dad need more room so you should take the bigger one." I said walking into the only room left it was small, one window which was broken and a small closet but I could make it work.
- Time skip
The rest of the day was spent unpacking and although we couldn't get everything done in one day we only had a few boxes lying around in the living room.
"So girls tomorrow we're going to your school for registration the school year already began but it's only been a few weeks so you'll be fine catching up." My dad said as we ate dinner.
"Alright" I said going back to my food.
"I wonder if there's any cute girls around here" Anna said winking at me.
I scoffed looking at her.
"Is that all you worry about. We've been here what a day."
"Sorry that I'm a normal human being who develops feelings for people unlike you" she said sticking her tongue out at me.
"Girls be nice" my mom said using that mom voice.
"Oh please, as if you've ever cared for anyone but yourself."
"Yea well at least I have friends and people actually like me"
"Your teddy bears don't count as friends you know that right" I said mocking her.
"We-"
"Girls that's enough" my dad said his voice booming through the house.
Anna got up slamming her fork on the table and left to her room. My dad sighed and looked at me.
"Go to bed we've got an early day tomorrow"
I got up from my seat walking to my room.
"Goodnight." My parents said in unison.
"Night" I said as I closed my room door.
