"We're here Abel-Sama."

"Looks simple compared to the mansion next to it."

"Well, I think it's good to be simple. For someone in your position, I thought it'd be best to avoid unnecessary attention."

That is true, whatever went wrong with my reincarnation must've also affected my power. The smart choice is to be patient and check which of my abilities might've been messed with.

Lights! But I didn't feel any magic from Lilith...

"They're called lightbulbs, I just flip this switch and it turns on."

So, it's not Lilith's magic, the magic is coming from within the lights.

"You don't seem impressed?"

"I can just create light myself."

"Thinking like that is so you Abel-Sama." Lilith giggles.

What about my thinking? Anyone can use [Luminescent] magic to create light regardless of their eye color. At the time... I still didn't understand what Lilith meant until...

After Catching Up with The Present

"This world never advanced at all! It is as if they've gone through an unnoticed recession!" Sure, history can be up for interpretation, but this... this? This is just too awful. Culture has no issues, but spells have become automatic!

*Sigh*

I should take a break and eat before I discover something more outrageous.

...Dinnertime

"Abel-Sama, so this isn't the body you wanted?"

"Right, I originally wanted to be in the body of a child version of myself, to reach the three peaks of academics, physicality, and magic, to learn about this future, and to start over."

"But this happened."

"Yes, I could just try reincarnating again, but I can't risk that knowing that a flaw exists somewhere in my spells."

"So, what will you do now?"

"I could try fixing the spell, but... even if I do fix it, I think I will stick with this new body. Any part of me besides my eyes could be affected, I might discover something new."

Also...

"I'm hearing an also."

She sees right through me.

"Also... reincarnating again would mean leaving you again."

She is shocked at first, then she smiles with a blush.

"Abel-Sama... thank you. Since you'll be a girl from now on, we need to get you some proper clothes, you can't keep borrowing my clothes. We can do this when I'm not working."

The Next Morning...

Lilith is working today and prepared breakfast and lunch in advance for me. I do wonder what job she does during this era.

Someone is here, but it couldn't be Lilith. The door swings open.

"Hello there! You must be Lilith's sister!"

An understandable conclusion, but wrong. Is this Lilith's acquaintance?

"Hey! Hey! I didn't know Lilith had a sister until you showed up!"

He looks like a human boy and from his appearance, he must be some rich kid... probably the son of the owner of the mansion next door.

"Hey! Abebe?"

"It's Abel."

I don't know what he's here for.

"Are you studying magic? I could teach you a thing or two about magic!"

But he's making it too lively here.

"Sorry, but I'm fine studying on my own."

"Come on! There must be something I can teach you!"

This day sucks. But maybe I can prove how different we are.

"I highly doubt you have anything to teach me, especially given my eyes."

I make sure to dramatically display my eyes.

"Eh! Those eyes!"

These eyes, the same as a demon's eyes, should show how powerful of a magician I am.

"Pft."

Huh?

"Ha ha ha! Those are amber eyes!"

He's laughing?

Extra: 200 Years and Above

Before I went to bed, Lilith approached me reading in bed wearing my sleep wear.

"Before we get new clothes, we need to know what your sizes are."

"Well, your bra fits me fine, shouldn't I be around your size?"

"That is true, but exact measurements are better. Now strip!"

"Can't I... do this myself? And don't pull the 'because we're both girls' excuse."

"What is there to be embarrassed about? Is it because you were a man? A man who 'was too immersed in their work to have any connection to women.'?

"It's... just that only a few days ago you were a child, and now... I'm having trouble with this new image."

"Oh?"

Uh-oh, I don't need any connection to know that I just stepped on a sleeping predator.

"So, you still think I'm a child, huh?"

"L-Lilith."

Despite having a wall behind me, I'm already pressing against it as if I could get any further.

"200 years isn't old enough for you?"

"I take it back Lilith. You are an adult!"

She advances upon me, like a tidal wave preparing to crash down.

"You say that, but I think you're the type of person who needs proof."

At this point, her face is close enough for me to feel her breath.

"You may have the body of an adult, but you just reincarnated, right? In other words, you're the child here. How ironic."

Wait... where did our clothes go?

*Smack*

Lilith smacks her hand on my now bare thigh, forcing my attention back to her eyes.

"Don't worry Abel-Sama~ I am an adult. You wanted to learn about this new world, including this new body of yours, right? I'll teach you all about the adult body, then you'll be an adult too."

One Adulthood Proven Night Later...

Which of us was the child that night didn't matter. When we woke up in the morning, we were both adults...

Sometime Later...

Lilith managed to get my measurements during that night, and we went to get clothes. Aside from the distinct clothing that Lilith got, I was able to choose my everyday wear. I had a long-sleeve gray sweater that covered my entire upper body excluding my neck where my scarf would be. For my lower body, I wore a knee length skirt that shouldn't affect my mobility with white stockings. I had a mundane bra but opted for spats. And leather boots for footwear.
