"Tomorrow is the first day, is there anything we should expect?" I ask.

Me, Lilith, and Fedia are spending our last free day in the coffee shop.

"There will be an opening ceremony and all new teachers are going to give a short introduction of themselves."

"I imagine that I'll be meeting some resistance from the students."

"That... is inevitable. Unfortunately, you'll just have to take it because you are officially a teacher representing our academy."

"But don't worry Abel! Your sisters will protect you!" Lilith adds.

"I feel like it's the students who need protecting." Fedia comments.

While we chat, a familiar presence returns.

Her skill at hiding hasn't improved.

"Should I?" I request.

"Go ahead."
"Please do."

"Eliza, why are you here?"

Eliza slowly makes her way to our table.

"I... wanted to see you. You see... I wanted to know when you'd start teaching me! You didn't tell me when you'd do it!"

"We'll have to reserve a time within both our schedules for that however, we shouldn't do that yet. I'm not sure how much work I'm actually going to do, so I need to know first."

"Alright..."

Eliza fidgets in place as if trying to come up with something to say.

"You can join our table Eliza, though I'm not sure why you'd want to socialize with someone older than yourself."

"I prefer mature people. Those other students gossip about the same things." Eliza answers honestly.

"Not everyone is who they are at face value, you should get to know them first before you decide such things." Fedia suggests.

"I-I get that but..." Eliza sighs.

"You aren't good at socializing with your peers." I answer.

"You seem to know her really well, even before classes even started." Lilith teases.

"Eliza wanted to test her power against mine. We had a conversation afterwards."

"Did you..." Fedia begins.

"I went easy on her."

"No... did you do that?"

"Yes."

Fedia looks at me with an exasperation.

Eliza is piecing together what she's seeing.

"You're the teacher that Miss Abel..."

Fedia and Eliza seem to be processing my statement, though I suspect that it is because of my latter statement.
