Armani was asleep as they heard the loud barks of some hounds, footsteps of horses, and some mumbled voices which woke them up. "Huh what?"Armani said half asleep as they walked to the window. They saw lanterns nearby moving towards the treehouse. " Oh no."Armani said and runs to peridot and woke her up.
"Huh what's going on?" Peridot said tiredly. "We need to leave now!"Armani said and packs up some things including the photo of their family. The guards eventually get to the tree. " We know you're in there come out with the girl!" A guard said. Armani tries to remain silent and looked for a way out.
"This is taking to long. BURN THE TREEHOUSE!"the leader said. "Are you insane we need to get them alive!" Another guard said to the leader. "I don't care we need to get them!"the leader said and threw the lantern starting a fire. "That was my grandma's lantern."a guard said. "I don't care now we need to get them."the guard said
Armani smelled the smoke and saw a lantern lighting a fire. They quickly grabbed the lantern And runs to a different window. They grabbed peridot and runs to them. Armani and peridot jumped out of the window as peridot tries to hang on.
Armani and peridot sees the guards bickering and giggles some. "I don't know how they became guards." Peridot said as The fire was spreading across the tree making the area bright as the sun and very hot. Armani quickly deploys a smoke bomb causing a distraction as the two ran off or rather Armani running and peridot holding onto dear life
Armani looked at the burning tree and a bunch of angry guards and sighs. "What's wrong Armani?"peridot said. "That was my childhood treehouse. Built when my parents were alive. It was one of the only places that made me happy."armani said. "I sometimes wish my parents were dead. They are real tyrants."peridot said.
"Oh. Now where should we go?" Armani said. "Don't know."Peridot said
