"An... an... emo."
As soon as I heard the words slip from Erin's mouth, my blood ran cold. Then I gave Erin the most resentful glare I could manage.

"Don't be ridiculous Erin. He would never be an emo. That would be risking his whole career."
Erin shrugged. "That's just what I heard. Don't take my word from it." "Whatever", I huffed. "I have to go."

"What's wrong with you, Rain. Im just trying to warn you like a good friend would"
Those words make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up straight. "What. Did. You. Say?"
I growled. "You're not my friend. I don't have friends".
I stood up, and started to walk towards the door.

"Rain, wait-", Erin tried to grab the sleeve of my black hoodie.
"Don't touch me you emo!" I shrieked, and ran away.
Once I had gotten away from Erin, I could finally breathe.
I guess I've always been a loner at heart.
