Cosmos

Every night before I go to sleep,
The cosmos up above watch me weep.
The stars caught sight of my highs and lows,
My wars and my vows.

They do not judge nor utter a word.
The universe hears what I have heard.

Sometimes I worry if I burden the stars with all these,
But the more I admire them before I rest,
I know real well that they too feel at ease.

The owls seek,
The wind whistles,
The universe glitters,
The night fills my dreams.

I close my eyes as the evening fills my senses,
Whilst the stars are looking over me
And the cosmos above grow deep,
Every night before I go to sleep.
