Sounds of the ocean waves sneaking onto the shore, the sun shone brilliantly in the sky occupied by fluffy white clouds that you just might mistake for cotton candy.

At the Aether Residence, everyone was in groups and doing their part to prepare for a surprise party.

What's to celebrate you might ask? Well, returning to Alola after finding Mohn, everyone believed the reunion of the family and friends altogether deserved this.

Lusamine was busy distracting Mohn by showing him all of the changes that have been made throughout the years.

Kukui was at the airport, waiting for his friend, DJ Leo who will be playing the music at the party.

Mallow and Burnet were in the kitchen working their magic preparing a large serving of food for later.

Lana and Sophocles were working on decorating their house for the party, Lana hung the balloons as Sophocles helped her by balancing the ladder and handing her the balloons.

You can also find Kiawe and Gladion working together to carry the tables and chairs for the special occasion.

Gladion, however, raised his eyebrow after witnessing a particular scene unfold in front of his eyes...

Ash and Lillie were tasked to decorate a banner. However, things weren't as simple as that.

Ever since meeting Lillie again at Crown Tundra, the warm feelings returned just like when Lillie left Alola with her family on a search for her father. The Clefairy doll that Lillie gave him just wasn't enough, he wanted her in person, right here.

He didn't know what those feelings were, but wherever he thought of her, his insides felt like it was being filled with an endless ocean of warmth and contentment while his heart rate spiked. The sensation was so foreign yet so familiar...

Ash didn't want to admit this to himself but he liked it. Lillie on the other hand is in the identical position as him.

Lillie always felt something for Ash, ever since their meeting at the Pokemon School. Since then, so many things have happened. He helped her to overcome her fear of touching Pokemon, and save her mother from the Ultra Wormhole. These events did nothing but intensify those feelings.

Back to reality, the simple job of decorating the banner proved to be harder. They failed to maintain even a second of eye contact without their face becoming tomatoes.

When their hands touched, it was even worse as you could see steams coming out of either one's ears.

Gladion was rather happy to see this sight. If it were any other guy, he probably would've gone up and choked him for even thinking about her precious little sister. But, he wouldn't mind seeing Ash taking care of Lillie.

Despite Ash's rather immature actions from time to time, he is responsible when the situation demands it and most importantly, his noble qualities. Not to mention, his skills in battling surely impressed Gladion, surprising him with strategies thought on the spot time and time again.

Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted when Mallow came out.

"Is anyone free to help and go get some groceries?" Mallow said, getting everyone's attention.
