Chapter 2

Five years later...

Sophie...

I was really praying  to pass the interview at the job I wanted to start. It had been five years with books and exams and I finally made it to society... though I didn't get the right results but I passed without fail. I had promised my mom before she died that I will get some were without fail. My mom died with stroke when I was nineteen years old,I was lonely without a mom for the past three year's, I had no one to run to and seek some boyfriend advice...back then I never had a friend.

But on the bright side she had left me enough money for me to attend college and also managed to rent an apartment for a little while. I wasent alone till I met Austin Anderson... his my boyfriend and we've been together for three years now I was happy cause he supported me as a independent woman.

I had arrived at the Martel Enterprises. It was one of the most biggest business in the industry... Making about billions of dollars per year,investors from all over world would come to invest at the headquarters every week, workers there are well equipped for the job...and am gonna be one of them.

I wore a black skirt,a peach shouldered blouse with some black blocked heels let me not forget a necklace and a watch. I wasent all that...but I was dressed simple for work. Not until I pass the job interview. I really hope I don't mess up.

I walked towards the counter and confirm my appointment. A beautiful young woman welcomed me with a smile. They must be hot women here.

"Hello...welcome to the Martel Enterprises. How may I help you?" She asked. I cleared my throat. "Am miss Sophie Harrison... I come for my job interview for Mr.James Martel." I spoke softly without a muffle. She checked her computer and smiled at me. "Ooh yes miss Harrison. Alright his having a talk with one of the managers but he will be with though after ten minutes." She informed me. Okay it's enough for me to clear my bad thoughts about this interview.

"You can take a sit on the waiting bench...in ten minutes time a person will show you to his office." She said. She gave a good luck and I was greatful to receive it. I sat on the bench and waited for his personal meeting to be done. I hope I will suit to be his PA.

Austin hadn't texted me since last night I think it was because we had an argument over me. I was hurt about what he said to me but I will let him be cause I love him. I put my phone away when a elderly woman approached me...is it time already? It's moving to fast.

The woman had told me not panic when we were in the elevator. So she noticed. Figured she knew.

"I hear his a hard person to convince." I breathed hard. Fuck am gonna mess up.

She chuckled.

"Don't stress his a very nice man...he just doesn't like nonsense with people's work...if your lucky he pays you double." She laughed. Whoa double...who can refuse that offer. I was still shocked.

"I won't mess up. For sure." Confidence filled me in. I feel the fire.

"Well be ready cause we are here." She lowered her voice. Oooh God I didn't realize we walked out of the elevator.  Am totally freaking out!

She knocked. A "come in." voice filled the air. She whispered "Good luck." And left.

THIS.IS.IT...there is no turning back.
