Chapter 6

Sophie...

I could feel my heels wobble in my step,my lips going dry with short breaths and I was feeling as if I wanted to collapse in his presence once I enter his office. Truly I feared him.

I entered his office when he allowed me in and our eyes locked together the moment he turned to look at me. He seemed a bit bothered from his stare. I wanted to turn back...if I could. I stood in the middle of the office...thankfully he wore another suite at least that's taken care of.

"Take a sit." He said. I swallowed hard as I took my sit. Waiting for him to talk some huge sence into my brain. I want a miracle. Fuck am dead.

He breathed and leaned in. "First of all I want to strongly apologize for my...unexpected temper towards you."he said. His calming voice sounded so soothing my cheeks began to blush red. I just froze.

"Second I know you were trying to help me...but I wasent angry at you. A family matter just poped up and am lying about it." He spoke shamelessly. I hadn't seen him like this before... And also it must be serious on the upcoming family matter. I felt pitty for him. With the guilt in the air...a warm comforting smile appeared on my face.

"It's ok... Am here if you need anything." I proudly answered him. His glare gave me a hot wave out of my cheeks. His charming looks tangled me in a deeper gaze...to bad he doesn't remember me...

He sighed...then a corner smile appeared on his lips. Whoa it's sooooo hard too look away.

In short the dude is so handsome. I forced to keep the smiles in! What is this man doing to me!

He got up from his chair, stood and put his hand in his pocket. What a glorious pause his doing that my lips watered. "Third, you haven't changed a bit...sexy girl." He smiled. My eyes wided with shock....he useto call me that in high school at times. I almost fainted that name.

He knew it was me this whole time! The shy girl during high school! He remembers!...

"You...you...remembered me." I muffled. My mouth went dry with gasps in my words. I must be dreaming. "Of course I do. How could I forget the girl who was shy around me with shanky words towards me." He chuckled. That laugh made me move in my sit. So remembers what luck. "That's good if you know me now." I blushed. My secret crush was this mysterious...mmm interesting.

He then frowned. I asked what was bothering him. "The family matter is the problem. Since now I owe the Martel Enterprises I'm in fucking stress to this honored work." He said. Walking around. I got up with a sudden suspension on this.

"I can't get the most important family contact to gain everything from both my father and grandfather. In doing so,.." He turned to look at me. I was curious to know his look.

"Sophie can you do me a favor." He asked me. My voice almost left my lips...but I have to repay him for the coffee accident and messing with his temper.

"Anything for an old high school friend." A low voice of mine echoed in the room.

It should be good right?

He approached me...which made me move backwards with fear. His giving me a devastating look and I reached at a point were I leaned against the wall...my heart beating so fast when he leaned his hand against it. I remember this pause perfectly.

He leaned his face in. "Sophie..." He whispered near my ear lobe. I opened my mouth to let out a breath of nervousness in me. His never gotten this close.

"Marry me..." He growled out. I instantly went speechless.

What?!
