Ranpo's Pov

I was heading over to poes house uninvited as always. I sadly kept getting lost so Dazai had to lead me over there.
"Its not my fault I have no sense of direction!" I said munching on some gummies I had
"Why didnt you just get the raccoon man to pick you up?" He asked me looking down on me.
I looked at him like he was seeing things.
"Because I didnt feel like it." I said as we got to Poe's house.
"Adios" Bandaged man had said before going off seeing Chuuya or as I call him hat man close by.
I opened the door..
-Weird its open- I thought
Doors usually are locked so why would it be opened?
I went inside looking around for Poe or karl whoever showed up first. Heading into the bedroom was a sleeping raccoon. Poe was writing it didnt seem like he heard me walking in.
It was a mess.
Everything was on the floor, a bunch of papers were in a full trashcan, there were so many coffee mugs on the floor and table where Poe was writing.
I could tell Poe wasnt taking care of himself again..
-Fuck- I thought because I should have seen it before.
"Ed..?" I said very worried about him.
"Hmm.."Poe groaned before turning around.
He looked terrified to see me.
"What happened here? Are you okay?" I asked.
"...."
He was silent.
He looked at me like he was about to cry. His eyes tearing up, I couldn't stand seeing him like this.
I slowly walked toward him looking at him completely concerned about what happened and why that had happened.
"Ed? Please talk to me" I said getting on my knees and holding his hands.
"I-..Well..Im fine really." Poe would say in a low and soft voice giving me a weak smile.
I looked up at him as I let go of one of his hands and moved his hair away from his face.
He looked sick like he hadn't eaten in days and his hair was in knots while his clothes were ripped and dirty.
"Lets clean up, okay?" I said getting up off the floor.
"No, no, its really not needed. I can clean up by myself!" Edgar would protest getting off the chair he was in.
"I wasn't asking. That is what-" I stopped looking down at his wrists. There was dried up and infected cuts.
I think he noticed me looking at that because he placed his arms behind his back hiding the cuts.
"Ed We need to talk after this."
The short male said grabbing his hand and taking him to the bathroom.

Poe's Pov

I was scared Ranpo had just seen my scars and saw me at my worst. I was completely done for
-Hes gonna hate me now- I kept thinking as he dragged me to the bathroom and sat me on the toilet.
"Im sorry.."
I apologized slightly crying because he had to see me like this.
"Shh its gonna be okay.."
Ranpo said helping me take off my shirt. He looked horrified but tried hiding it.
Although Ranpo is bad at hiding his emotions I pretended to not know not wanting to make things worse.
The shorter male grabbed an aid one kit. He grabbed a towel and added water to it cleaning the dried blood off the cuts.
Ranpo soon after grabbed the disinfectant cream making sure to do it to both arms.
Finally he wrapped them in bandaged that I know looked more like dazai.
"Anywhere else I should check Ed? Please dont lie."
The shorter male said looking down at The taller male.
"...no Its only on my arms..and stomach"
I said showing him it as I avoided eye contact from him.
He looked worried but he did the same thing to my stomach.
"Lets get cleaning!" Ranpo then headed out the bathroom.
I sighed a bit knowing I would have a lot of explaining to do.
I went out the bathroom and started picking up the trash and dishes helping Ranpo clean up.
"Im so sorry you really didn't have to do this.."
I said to the shorter male taking the garbage bag away from him and continue to clean up.
I knew he would protest but I really didn't want him worrying about me..
Ranpo soon took all the dishes and started washing, drying, and putting them away.
As soon as I tried to stopping him. He ignored me and continued doing the dishes.
I sighed and continued picking up the trash until I could see my floor.
It took me and ranpo three full hours or more to fully clean the house.
"Ran- Really you shouldnt have done that.."
I said grabbing the shorter males shoulder.
"Come on you need a shower Ed!"
Ran smiled as he dragged me to the restroom.
I really didn't want to shower I just wanted to go back to work.
"No thank you.. I really should get back-"
I didnt even get to finish my sentence before ranpo practically ordered me to get into the shower.
Since I didn't want to I was gonna try and say something to make Ranpo not force me to shower.
"Only if you join me" I said
I believed he wouldn't do it so it wouldn't be a big problem.
"Then lets do it!" He said smiling.
I was shocked absolutely astonished that he said yes.
"What.." I said confused.
"Ill join you in the shower Ed!" He said smiling.
-Shif fuck fuck fuck.- I kept thinking.
I was panicking inside.
Mentally dying!
Ranpo was actually going to do it.
We both got readying for the shower and had the shower ready for us.
Ranpo smiled as we both were in the shower together.
It was pretty awkward
"Hey Ed?" I hear Ranpo speak softly
He was facing the water as I was behind him.
"Hm?" I hummed examining ranpo's head his ears were quite red.
It was cute.. I placed my hand on his head ruffling it up.
"I-Isnt it hot in here.?" Ran said stuttering for the first time ever.
I have never heard him stuttering before.
"No? The waters cold..?" I said
"Are you sure? He said turning around.
"Ran? Are you flustered?" I asked looking down at him. I never realized how short ranpo was compared to me until now. He was only a few more inches taller than my belly button.
"Maybe. Whats it to you!" He said acting all tough and mighty.
I laughed a bit.
"Why are you flustered?" I asked him.
".Well.. Because your naked and im naked..Infront of you.." Ran said looking down nervously avoiding contact.
I smiled a bit.
"Ran are you nervous because you like me?"
I asked completely dumbfounded. There was no way Ranpo like me out of all people.
I mean look at him he is absolutely smart and amazing while im me. A loser somebody who people dont like.
"Well maybe..Fine.. Yes I do.." He said as he complained turned fully red. Ranpo was an absolutely flustered mess for me. It really sounded impossible.
"Oh? Oh really now?"
I said acting all cocky knowing that I was running on three hours of sleep the whole month.
Ranpo stayed quiet.
I wrapped my arms around his waist smiling.
It was absolutely comforting
Ranpo was very warm I smiled I really couldn't help it.
Along with that I was really hoping Ranpo had forgotten about everything.
We took a good amount of time in the shower before getting dressed.
I had landed some clothes to ranpo but nothing fit. So he just wore an oversized shirt that barely hanged on.
"Now im going to continue-"
I said walking towards my desk before my arm was practically yanked off of me.
"No. We are going to sleep."
Ranpo said dragging me again to my bed.
"Ran-" I tried going against him.
"No buts" He said.
We both got into the bed as we laid in opposite ends.
I felt cold so I went towards ranpo pulling him closer toward me for warmth.
He was still really warm it was amazing.
"E-Ed..?" He said.
"Yes princess?" I spoke half asleep.
"N-Nevermind!" He said getting closer to me and hiding his face in my chest.
I really was enjoying it.
I got into a cuddle position.
He was facing me laying on my chest as I rubbed his back soon falling asleep.
"Good night.. I love you.." I said smiling soon falling asleep probably going to regret everything in the morning.
"I love you too..Goodnight" Ranpo said as I was already asleep.
