010, waterfalls

day 20

TODAY WAS ONE of the hottest days ever. kirin and isa both went to the waterfall that him and josh found the other day. the hike was an hour away, but kirin told isa it would be worth it. they were also refilling some of the water bottles that they had from camp. they were very thirsty for the past few days, so they drank a lot of the water.

isa had never been to the waterfall before. when she got there she was amazed by the small waterfall and the pool of water beneath it. moss covered rocks and trees surrounded the whole place. the sound of the water rushing was such a relaxing sound to her.

"here she is." kirin said "isn't she a beaut?"

"yeah, she is." isa said looking around the place in awe. she set down the water bottles and all of their stuff while kirin took his shirt off and dove into the water. "isabelle, cmon you're daydreaming." kirin smirked while he floated on his back in the water.

"i was not daydreaming." she said undoing the button of her denim shorts. she stepped out of her shorts and went up to the rock where kirin dove in from. she also dove into the water, and when she surfaced, swam to where kirin was. the water was shallow enough to stand, but deep enough to swim in. "feels nice, doesn't it? i told you it would be worth it." he said splashing her with the water.

"fine, you were right. it was worth the hike and i hope you know the way back." she laughed and splashed him back harder "it's definitely a nice distraction from being stuck here." she said.

"it is." kirin said as he pulled isa into him and wrapped his arms around her waist. she put her arms around his shoulders and wrapped her legs around his torso. she then laid her head on his shoulder. although they've been on that island for only twenty days, isa's never felt this close to someone outside of her family before.

"you know what i realized?" isa asked.

"what?"

"if we get out of—"

"when." kirin cut her off.

"when we get out of here, i'm gonna have some sick college essay to write about this place." she said making kirin chuckle "you're seriously thinking about school right now?" kirin said as isa nodded.

she took her head off of his shoulder "yeah i can write about the time i got into a plane crash, got stuck on an island, and the lessons i learned from it. i'll get into all the colleges i want. harvard and yale will be fighting for me." isa joked at the end.

"you gonna write about me in your essay?" he asked.

"mhmm...i'll try to fit you into it." isa joked, leaning into kiss him, he paused "what?" she asked as their noses tips brushed together.

"you will though, right?" he said making her laugh "yes." she said as they connected their lips together. their lips moved together perfectly in sync. isa was the happiest on the island when her and kirin were together.

present

"you know when i went to the waterfall with kirin, for a moment, i forgot about everything." isa smiled recalling the memory. "i forgot about everything that was bad in the world. it was a nice distraction from everything."

"kirin made you happy on the island?" gretchen asked.

"yeah, he was like my anchor on the island. the only think keeping me level. he was always checking on me, offering me some of his food, and he was protecting me." isa said and gretchen nodded.

"did you feel safe on the island with kirin there?"

isa nodded "yeah, yeah i did."

day 20

isa pulled away from kirin and he frowned. she had just remembered they were supposed to fill up the bottles. "kir, we gotta fill up those bottles." he peppered kisses on her cheek and neck and isa laughed "kirin. cmon, the faster we fill those up the faster we can get back to this."

"fine." he said as he let her go from his hold so they could fill the bottles up. they swam back to the rocks where the empty bottles were. isa dipped the mouth of the bottle into the water to fill it up. kirin helped her filling up all of the bottles they took from camp. she twisted the cap onto the water bottle, closing it.

henry had told them the first time they took water from there, that they'd have to boil the water to clean it. he said running water was better than water that was stagnant.

the two now laid on the rocks where they previously dove off from. they took a towel from the camp and both were laying on it. isa had her head laying on kirin's chest. he was stroking her damp hair that was quickly drying off. isa liked this place, it was more peaceful than the beach. maybe she was saying that because the other boys weren't there and scotty wasn't making kissy noises when kirin and isa were laying next to each other in the tent.

kirin liked it because he didn't have the boys asking him what to do every minute of the day. the boys really relied on him for a lot of things. the boys, especially josh, really looked up to him like a older brother or some type of adult figure. he was like the leader of the group now that seth was on his own.

kirin stroked her arm gently, taking off some of the water beads stuck to her skin. "you wanna head back?" he asked and she shook her head "no, a little while longer." she said in a tired voice, snuggling into kirin's chest.

he nodded and kissed the top of her head, "okay. sounds good to me." kirin also said in tired voice. the sound of the water fall was like a lullaby. she felt like she was at one of those spas where they play the waterfall sounds in the background. she understood why they played that sound all the time. it made isa want to fall asleep.

after a quick nap by the water, the two headed back to camp.

i made like an original chapter not based on an ep. should i make more?

also the only thing i could think of them doing was going like swimming in the falls cause i didn't know what else they could do together without the boys.
