Headmaster Longbottom had announced during my first breakfast with Ravenclaw that there would be an annual Quiddich welcome-back-to-school game, all four of the houses competing for the win. The first game would would be tonight, Skytherin versus Gryiffindor, and tomorrow night would be Ravenclaw versus Hufflepuff. The two winners would play each other the next night.

The whole of Ravenclaw house was excited for the annual games, wearing the Ravenclaw colors and mascot. "Gryffindor or Slytherin?" Questioned Flora, grinning.

"Gryiffindor for the win!" I smiled, glancing at her out of the corner of my eye.

"Slytherin for me- they may be snobs, but they're great at Quiddich!" She announced.

"So, you're excited for the games then?" I asked cheerfully.

"Yes, of course!" she answered, smiling.

Just then, Thyme rushed over. " Excited, Sam?"

"Don't call me Sam, and very." I giggled, shaking my head.

"Ah, fine!" Grinned Thyme, giving me a quick scan of my clothes.

I had chosen to wear a robe of black fabric with the Hogwarts symbol on it, my name Samantha Alexandria Incas scrolled in a neat, fancy style underneath it with silver thread. I wore my hat and dragon hide gloves with my black boots and a blue and bronze stripped scarf I borrowed from Thyme. "Nice." She nodded approvingly.

"Thanks." Was all I said, looking away quickly.

"Well, we should be leaving for the game- it starts in forty five minutes!" Flora cut in, smiling sheepishly.

"Mkay, bye sis, love ya!" Thyme called after us as we walked out of Ravenclaw.

Outside, we choose a seat in the bleachers with the other Ravenclaw's, me grimacing as the two teams come from the locker rooms, Flora grinning with excitement. "This is so cool!"

Just then, the teams captions, Charlie Geer and Addie Hopper, shook hands and then stepped back into team huddles. Eventually, the teams finished plotting and eyed each other, mounting there broomsticks. Professor Granger, head of the Gryiffindor house, gave a sharp blow of the whistle she held between her teeth, and the players kicked of the ground with a start.

Addie Hopper was a skilled Quiddich player, easily pushing of the earth and into the air, and the seeker if her team, non other than Brianna Weasly, scanned the grounds swiftly and began to fly about, searching for the snitch. I watched, fascinated, as the players battled for victory, until, an half hour later, Brianna caught the snitch and the game was won. As soon as she exited the locker room, I hurried over. "Nice job, Brianna!"

"Thanks." She smiled, glancing over at me casually.

"Welcome." I answered, turning to leave and bumping right into Matt, the fifth year Ravenclaw.

"Chatting with the enemy, are you?" He snapped, obviously angry.

"S-Sorry, Matt!" I squeaked. "It's only my second day at Hogwarts, so cut me some slack."

Matt narrowed his eyes. "Just this once, then, and don't start chatting it up with Gryiffindor again, got it?"

"Okay." I agreed reluctantly, glancing at Brianna sadly.

The Gryffindor seeker just smiled gently. "Goodbye, Samantha Incas."

"Goodbye, Brianna Weasly." I whispered, watching her with wide eyes.

She turned and strolled away. Then, as I turned to walk away, I bumped into Silas Malfoy. The Slytherin smirked. "Well, well, what do we have here?"

Inwardly groaning, I just smiled sweetly and questioned, "Can you move? I need to get back to my common room."

Silas gave me an almost curious look. "Well, I could, but what would be the fun in that, hm?"

I secretly thought he had been a light nicer on the boat, but instead of voicing my opinions, I just frowned. Silas was quick to catch on. "Cat got you tongue?"

I straightened my shoulders. "No, my cat is back in my room- sorry!" I darted around him and sprinted over to Flora, who was just beginning to leave the field.

"Hey, where did you go?" She asked, her eyes twinkling.

"To congratulate Brianna Weasly, but it turns out we can't talk to those of other houses." I said, struggling to stay calm.

"Oh, that makes sense, I suppose, them being our rivals and all, hm?" She answered, her tone one of patience.

"Yeah, I guess so." I muttered, not bothering to make myself sound convinced.

She smiled softly, lopping her arm through mine, and we skipped back to the common room.
